All discussion of the candidates, updates and results should go here

For example- here's a video of Ted Cruz vying for world domination.

Also Hilary Clinton is a crook and nobody should have sex with her.

Discuss

(Note- The title will change as we get nearer the election, previous titles will be archived in the OP)

Like in Brazil,i feel there is a political crisis in the America, like here in 2014, you guys nominated the most hated candidates and here the winner was impeached in just 2 years,i wonder if it can happen in America?
My initial though was "Oh, God, I hope so," then I remembered how laughable and inexperienced Clinton's running mate is almost guaranteed to be.

Honestly they should just get rid of presidential primaries entirely and let the official party delegates choose more practical candidates.
That's the issue, though--the presidential primaries aren't to select a nominee, they're to select delegates to the convention. In the past forty years or so, it has been mostly a rubber stamp, which is why people believe that. If voters don't choose the delegates, then we go back to the way is was decades ago when party bosses picked all of the delegates. In that scenario, there is a lot more potential for corruption. Besides, it would make the Democratic Party's superdelegate issue look like nothing in comparison, so it wouldn't be feasible unless both major parties did it.

People with first names like "Boss" have never historically been known as sources of good politics. Good old Boss Tweed and Tammany Hall for instance. Or Frank Hague of New Jersey, one of the most definitively corrupt politicians in New Jersey (which basically amounts to the whole United States and probably the world).

Lol no
The most corrupt one is Paulo maluff from Brazil, the guy is still in office by the way.
Lula da Silva and his party are going to be trialed for the likely the largest corruption scheme in the history of Latin america and possibly the world.

Every president before the 20th century, both best and the worst of this group, were selected by these party bosses. I don't see this as a situation that is all that worse than one where a trash-talking populist can run away with the nomination.

Boss Hog was an honorable public servant.

Someone complied a list of Hillarys speeches; TLDR. over 21 million in 2 years! Plus 26 million for Bill in the same time period. So almost $50 million dollars earned from giving 20 minute of yakking in two (two!) years.

…if you think Hillary’s $21,667,000 was a lot of income for the Clinton clan, you can also tack on an additional $26,630,000 for her ex-president hubby Bill Clinton, and his “speaking fees” collected during the same time period.

"X is shilling for Hillary!!!111!!" is quickly reaching the level of "Obama is a secret Kenyan Muslim!!!"-scale ridiculousness. It comes across as people desperately trying to wish reality away, as if just repeating "No, she isn't really going to be president! BENGAZHI!!!" will somehow make it so.

Honestly I'm still trying to understand the vitriolic hate for her, she doesn't strike me as anymore crooked then your average rich professional politician. But to hear some on this site tell it she's going to turn over the government to ISIS (who ALL Muslims in the US are of course super-sekrit agents for and definitely NOT living under a microscope at all times watched by people who would gladly put them in death camps if they could) and SJW (who totally WON'T turn on her once she doesn't outlaw white people and men existing and are certainly NOT just a loud fringe group) while outlawing gaming and blowjobs.

Don't get me wrong, I think the "Trump is Hitler!!!!" people are tards too. I know demonizing the other side is standard practice in politics, but lets not be spergs about it.
Simple:

She lies about everything; to everybody; all the time, and she's a terrible actress.

Hillarys just not likeable.

Every time she does an TV appearance or press conference her numbers tank, hence she hasn't done a public appearance in 211 days. Last time was the demo primary debate vs Sanders.

Nice to have a President who won't talk to the press or the people outside of fully controllable PR stunts.

Trump is in Scotland for the reopening of his golf course there. He is of course praising the results of the referendum but not really drumming up any foreign policy credentials from what I can see.

I'm pretty sure you're confusing press conferences with public appearances altogether. She has done a number of interviews, both over-the-phone and TV-interviews, during the duration of the primary.

Here's one TV interview with on Meet the Press with Chuck Todd from May 22nd.
http://www.nbcnews.com/meet-the-press/hillary-clinton-questions-trump-s-level-success-n578246

Here's a TV interview with CNN's Jake Tapper from June 3rd.
http://www.cnn.com/2016/06/03/politics/hillary-clinton-jake-tapper-the-lead/

And another TV interview with ABC's David Muir from June 8th. (Putting a space after the .com because the Farms keeps automatically embedding their clunky video in the apge otherwise.)
http://abcnews.go.com /Politics/video/hillary-clintons-full-interview-david-muir-39692515

And there's a number of other ones, including points when she went Trump-like and phoned dozens of stations for a short time, but these are just a few I could find with footage quickly enough.

Also, even ignoring that, the last debate she had with Sanders wasn't 211-days ago, but around 70, during the New York Primary debate. Clinton also proceeded to outperform her polls versus Sanders in the primary following that debate, so I don't see where you get the impression that her numbers tank.

I hate to always be the Clinton shill, but so much of the shit I see flung is unequivocally wrong.
