I prefer Trump simply because he wouldn't be able to get shit done.

The political machine will shut him down because he's an outsider.

Hillary would continue to help pass laws that will further decimate the middle class, ones that will expand both corporate powers and government powere all while preaching to us that it's for the greater good.

I'd rather 4 years of infighting rather then 4 more years of taking it up the ass.

8 more years. The republicans running next time aren't likely to be more believable then the last several times.

Both parties are whole owned by corperate interests now a days. Citizen United was the death knell for American democracy; all you guys have now is the same old plutocracy the rest of the world enjoys.

What a dumb move by Trump. It was the best possible way to tag team Hillary, with little consequence for "losing". Of course, the debate could have been structured so that they know what each person is saying. Opening => Rebuttal => Closing is trivially easy if you know what you're opponent is saying and they know what you're saying, which will raise awareness without having to declare a loser.

The Supreme Court, maybe since Scalia died, so it's 4 Liberals, 3 Conservatives, and one moderate who leans Conservative, but both chambers of Congress are controlled by the Republicans, and still heavily guided by the Tea Party aftermath. The only guy to challenge Trump seriously was the same Senator who caused the government shut down over the ACA in the first place, so Tea Party conservatism is still strong.

Are there any sane Tea Party Conservatives?? They don't seem sane to me at all (I blame Liberal Media for this, too...).

As for Trump being corporatist trash - this is part of why I feel America could use something like what's happening in Venezuela. Some good old fashioned riots and civil warfare / revolutionary activity against the rich. Someone's gotta teach them a lesson - and it saddens me not enough people think this is OK, when it's clearly something people want to see happen (cowards...UGH.).
 
Does Trump pay his taxes?
My g-grandfather was kind of Trump like, in the way that he was very rich but dedicated vast amounts of money to the wider good. I don't see how rich can automatically = shell companies in various island nations?
 
It's been mentioned before but it's worth talking about again- Trump bailed on a debate with a 74 year-old socialist. This is a primary example of something that could hurt trump. Make him look the like the giant pussy he actually is.

If it comes down to Trump vs. Clinton, I'm voting for Dr. Jill Stein (Green Party). :powerlevel:

Trump & Clinton are both godawful in their own ways. It's a shame to see rampant support for either.
