All discussion of the candidates, updates and results should go here

For example- here's a video of Ted Cruz vying for world domination.

Also Hilary Clinton is a crook and nobody should have sex with her.

Discuss

(Note- The title will change as we get nearer the election, previous titles will be archived in the OP)

I just hope her biological games would work.

No matter how many advantages she has, coughing on stage during live Tv would not look good.
Would you say the same about Papa Trump? If he made an ass of himself with his "biological games", would you bitch that the 'lamestream media' was being 'unfair' to him?
Who gives a shit if she had a coughing fit, it gave us an gif for dank memes :woo:

People often forget how low the Clintons went against Obama in 2008. Spawning the birther 'controversy,' making sure to bring up his drug use as a youth frequently to scare middle-aged white voters from him, and even spreading that one photo of him weating a turban to scare Islamaphobes.

The Clintons are capable of shit flinging and character assassination that would make Lee Atwater proud. They didn't really use it against Sanders, since they assumed they could win the primary without directly smearing and hitting Sanders. This, which means there's likely significantly less division between the Clinton and Sanders camps, and making it easier to unite both sides for the general. But rest assured, we're looking at a whole bunch of low attacks once the general really begins. I'm excited for the shitfest.

Too bad Lee Atwater died, he would have probably worked for Jeb! and made this spectacle even better.

But doesn't Glenn Beck basically say the exact same things Trump does? Why is Beck so upset?
Glenn Beck may be nuts, but he actually cares about political issues. Hell, I don't even think he's dumb. Poorly schooled, certainly, but he's known from day one Trump doesn't care about anything and will happily toss all his promises under a bus at any time for any reason, or no reason at all.

That puts him well ahead of Limbaugh and Coulter's Jonestown act no matter how many animals die on his program.

This is @TK we're talking about. The Drumpfster doesn't even have to mix the cyanide into his Kool-Aid.

He's become unstoppable. All he has to do is win Indiana and I'll be over.

Honestly guys, its really soon gonna be time to accept what is.

I love you all, by the way. Throughout the whole season, so far, it has been great to be on the winnig side again after having to deal with characters like stupid McCain, stupid Romney and even stupid GWB.

You just keep on doubting, doubting and doubting and doubting.

HRC, believe it or not, doesnt even have anything in the bag yet concerning the nomination, unlike Trump. Sanders himself, is apparently seeing to it that the Democratic Convention will be the contested one.

You doubters, all throughout last Fall kept on saying Trump isnt going to get the nomination, bar-none. What you werernt doing, however, was suggesting who actually would.

It seems to me, that despite your dislike over HRC, you would still gladly take her murdering ass over Trump. All because of your own hatred.

I hated Obama well before his first general election, but had to suck things up just like you are going to have to. Fuck maybe you will just flee the country over Presidents you dont like. I did.

Did you know Bill Clinton is developing Parkinsons? That would be model for the first "First Man"

Now I wait for all my Dumb, Islamic (lol) and Autistic stickers.

It's only a contested convention if no candidate can be agreed upon in the first ballot, either by vote, or acclimation. While the Sanders team may be claiming that they intend to swing super delegates their way and use a super delegate majority as a means to win, I sincerely doubt they think it can work. Most likely, they just want to keep campaigning and promoting their issues, maybe seeing if they can find a better way to pivot and help Clinton in the general, and at this point, this far behind, if Sanders doesn't claim that he's going to make a play on the super delegates, he's effectively stating his campaign for the presidency is over: And so would go a lot of the donations, interest, and relevance of him and his platform. Even if he seriously does try to do it, there's no chance of it working. He's behind by over 300 pledged delegates, and a couple million on the popular vote if I recall. He needs 65% of all the delegates moving forward to take the pledged lead just barely before the convention, and those require margins he only really got in his home state so far. And after Indiana tonight, he's likely going to be looking at higher than 65%.

Even if he doesn't quite take the pledged lead, but gets close, he still has to win over the super delegates that he has been denouncing the last couple months. Not only that, but he has to argue to them that, despite him and his teams arguments that they should go along with the will of the people as he's said in the past, supporting whoever won their state, or whoever won the pledged lead nation wide, and not be used to steal the nomination away from whoever has more pledged delegates, they should now do so because it's beneficial to him. It's a hard sell, considering how much more the super delegates prefer Clinton due to her working with the party over the decades, the attacks on them and their system that Sanders has launched, and more than a little hypocritical on the part of Sanders. The odds of Clinton not getting the required pledged + super delegate majority on the first ballot is less likely than the Cruz-Kasich alliance somehow managing to make enough wins to force a contested convention, and as polling shows, neither of those are particularly feasible. Unfortunately, we're not going to have any contested conventions this year, which is a real shame as it would have been an enjoyable mess to watch.

CARLY FIORINA DIDN’T HELP TED CRUZ AT ALL - A new national poll from Morning Consult shows that preliminarily announcing Carly Fiorina as his running mate didn’t help Ted Cruz improve his standing. Among the Republicans polled 25 percent say adding Fiorina to the ticket improves their chances of voting for Cruz, but 24 percent say it makes them less likely to vote for Cruz. The majority — 51 percent — don’t care.

What happens of Trump's choses bernie as VP?
Sanders is transformed by God into a pillar of salt immediately following his agreement.

He would've done that to Trump on his birth, but the evil powers generated via the magic orangutang besitality ritual preceding his conception shields him in Satan's Bosom, far beyond all but the rarest of miracles to pierce through.

Trump already is a pillar of salt.

“If he can’t be stopped in Indiana, you will have a lot of people who just throw up their arms and say, ‘Well, I guess he can’t be stopped,’” said Erick Erickson, an influential Republican activist who has tried to organize anti-Trump forces. “I think the super donors or the megadonors — they stop spending money. They’re not going to get on board Trump, but they’re not going to continue to invest in what they perceive as a lost cause.”

Gotta say, whining about your competition being big bully meanie-heads makes you look like a timid victim, not someone who should be running a country. Yeb tried this and was rightly marginalised as a cuck.

Tbf trump did say cruz's dad helped murder JFK. I'd be a little peeved too.

Yeah, but if I was an American voter, I'd expect better arguments from someone who wants to be President than what's essentially "Trump is a rude meanie."

Or maybe I'm just surprised they still think this works against Trump.

That's a double standard. We cant just let trump say fucking anything, think 'oh that's just trump' and then rag on his opponents for doing a fraction of it. :story:
