At this point I'm just hoping Clinton makes Sanders her VP on the ticket - that would effectively net a large number of Sanders supporters for her, him in a position where he can at least do a sizable amount of work in the government, and consolidate the voting base against Trump because goddamn, that man has no fucking clue what he's even saying and there is a real chance that moron actually might become the leader of the so-called "free world"

I could see her pulling a lot of Sanders supporters with Elizabeth Warren on the VP slot, too.

On his radio program yesterday, Glenn Beck and his co-hosts mocked Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump for looking like an "orange racoon" and wondered how he obtained his unnatural hue. In an attempt to figure it out, they planned an experiment for today in which they would smear crushed-up Cheetos on their faces "to see if we can get our face close to the face of Donald Trump."

And true to their word, they did exactly that at the end of today's broadcast.

We don't even have any commentary to add, since there really isn't much you can say about Beck and company pressing their faces into plates of crushed Cheetos:

On the topic of Glenn Beck, I'm always looking for excuses to link this again.
Nearly seven years later and it's still great.
 
But doesn't Glenn Beck basically say the exact same things Trump does? Why is Beck so upset?
 
Here's an interesting perspective on what the general election between Hillary and Trump might look like.

The conventional wisdom is that Trump’s penchant for gutter politics makes him difficult for Clinton to handle. I suspect that’s wrong. Clinton’s instinct is to use hardball tactics in pursuit of what she sees as the greater good. Barack Obama and Sanders, by running as high-minded idealists, made that harder. Every time she attacked them, she risked playing into their depiction of her as ruthless and unprincipled. Trump, by contrast, because he’s so odious, liberates her to wage total war. Which is exactly what she likes to do.

No matter how many advantages she has, coughing on stage during live Tv would not look good.

People often forget how low the Clintons went against Obama in 2008. Spawning the birther 'controversy,' making sure to bring up his drug use as a youth frequently to scare middle-aged white voters from him, and even spreading that one photo of him weating a turban to scare Islamaphobes.

The Clintons are capable of shit flinging and character assassination that would make Lee Atwater proud. They didn't really use it against Sanders, since they assumed they could win the primary without directly smearing and hitting Sanders. This, which means there's likely significantly less division between the Clinton and Sanders camps, and making it easier to unite both sides for the general. But rest assured, we're looking at a whole bunch of low attacks once the general really begins. I'm excited for the shitfest.
