All discussion of the candidates, updates and results should go here

For example- here's a video of Ted Cruz vying for world domination.

Also Hilary Clinton is a crook and nobody should have sex with her.

Discuss

At this point, Trump needs 49% of the remaining delegates to secure the Republican nomination outright. That's steep, but doable. He is the only candidate who is capable of reaching 1,237 delegates; Cruz and Kasich have both been mathematically eliminated. Honestly, at this point, most people who are opposed to Trump have their fingers crossed, but no one is holding their breath. It's probably going to come down to the wire. A lot of people are focused on holding Congress and looking towards 2020.

I hope Trump hits his limit and then the GOP tries to steal the nomination anyway, and sets off gigantic riots that leave the entire Cleveland metro area flaming ruins and destroy the GOP itself.

The bit I'm wondering is whether Trump's complete lack of shame or restraint will allow him to out-negative Hillary to the point where he can flip enough swing states to a victory. The reverse doesn't seem to be a problem. Trump's wretched personal life and perpetual cycle of failures sustained by thuggery, starfucking, and getting himself into debt to the point where it becomes the banks problem in addition to his own are already open secrets.

If he gets in, all bets are off. I only wonder what'll be worse: the consequences of his stupidity or his deliberate cruelty and crookery.

Hate Hillary all you might, she is shockingly competent at the kind of brutal knife-fight this general election is likely to be.

I have no fear of a Trump presidency.

I feel you, but I'll be hopeful when the fat-faced fuck is tossed into a vat of holy water after Pope Francis drives a stake carved from the True Cross into his heart and not a second before.

Because Hillary knows all the weak points on typical politicians. Trump doesn't have weakpoints.

Trump has weak points, but not in the conventional sense. His negatives are all pretty much out in the open and unlike most election cycles I don't think he's going to have any major out of the woodwork scandals that Hillary is so good at exploiting. I don't think Hillary has every had anyone with the balls and inclination to try and out-snake her so she's not going to be on her usual firm footing.

Highly optimistic.
They've been trying for a year now. The worst they got on him is a company subcontractor employing polish immigrants illegally; something he didn't have an involved role in. They've tried calling him a sexist xenophobic islamophobic racist and it's not worked. The only time his ratings fell was when he said some shit about abortion and that might be the achille's heel.

It really boils down to this:

In this election, the first after China has surpassed the United States GDP, as China fabricates claims on three different American ally's sovereign land, as radical islam dismantles the European Union, as Russia flies jets over NATO turkey to test the alliance, as our economy breaks down and prepares for another stock market crash -- in this election, will the American people still vote on single-issue social problems like tranny bathroom wedding abortions? Would America rather have a criminal that's pro-abortion than a professional who's for state abortion laws?

The darkest part of my unbleached asshole he had nothing to do with that. In the words of Shemp Howard, Trump'd steal flies from a blind spider. Of course that shit was his idea.

There were hundreds of second-world illegals on that Trump Tower project. They were working twelve hour shifts a day, and could be easily spotted because they were the only guys on the crew who didn't wear hardhats. The docents of the suit were sealed in '99, but it's safe to assume he both knew everything that was going on and never changed shit since he still employs illegals on his projects to this day.

It's a Satanic miracle he's not in prison with his Sicilian compadres.

The GM of my guild in WoW just said the people she works with would be going to a Trump rally in a few days to act as provocateurs with super racist (the phrase she mentioned was Black Lives Don't Matter) signs. It amazed me the she lacked any self-awareness as to why that's a stupid fucking idea. Granted, she's in California and works at a doggy daycare so her friends might not know what they're doing. If something happens, you heard it from me first.
