All discussion of the candidates, updates and results should go here

For example- here's a video of Ted Cruz vying for world domination.

Also Hilary Clinton is a crook and nobody should have sex with her.

Discuss

looks like Rubio will win Minnesota

At this point, I'm thinking a LOT of Americans are looking at moving to Canada.

I'm just sad.

I shouldn't be. Shit like this is going to happen. It's part of democracy and government. But I'm sad.

I think Sanders reminds too many Blacks and Latinos of the condescending, clueless, neurotic White activists who try to set themselves up as Saviors of Oppressed People. In many ways, Sanders is also something of a throwback to the pre-identity-politics Old Left, who doesn't "get" issues outside of the economic sphere.
Thats absolutely retarded though. Half the reason so many minorities are in a shit state is because of economic issues. Look at places like Camden, Detroit and Chicago. All areas who got bent over and fucked by the shitty economics in the final half of the 20th century. And Hillary gets the issues less then Sanders does because she supported the other half of the issue which where policies that directly or opened the door for the issues with law we see today.

Niggers only care about retarded social issues, whereas Sanders is focused solely on the economy. The general public does too for the most part, that's why Sanders never had a chance.

If Sanders doesn't get the nomination, then I hope Jill Stein gets the Green Party nomination so I can vote for her in the general election.

Much chaos. Trump and Sanders were the revolt. Unfortunately, the young'ns don't know how to revolt properly and the democratic wing of the establishment still runs strong.

Rubio will probably win Minnesota. :heart-full:

Kasich has a shot at Vermont.

In terms of delegates, things are still pretty scattered on the Republican side. Momentum is a really valuable commodity in presidential primaries, though. Rubio needs a win in Florida; he could continue, but it will be hard to go on after a loss there.

I'm going to remain optimistic, and I still support Rubio, but this year is probably the best chance for a fight on the convention floor in generations. If other candidates can deny Trump a majority of delegates in the primaries (assuming that things hold constant), he's still stoppable. It would be quite difficult to pull off, though.

Sanders is done after tonight. He may stay in for another few weeks, but Clinton is likely too far ahead.

Stein will easily receive the Green nomination at their convention. Her opponents are a perennial candidate and a random lady with a crazy name. I'm not sure if she picks Honkala as her running mate again, but she was pushing that ridiculous "Green Shadow Cabinet" thing a few years ago, so who knows.

Right-
  • Cruz polls poorly outside of the south. He's probably gone as far as he can go.
  • Rubio has won one state but did poorly with acquiring delegates everywhere else
  • Kasich has come so close to beating trump that he'll stay in.
  • Carson lives in another universe and is going nowhere.
  • Trump cleaned house with 6-7 states and over 250 delegates.
  • Rubio's trying to justify continuing by saying that he'll win Floridia but that's unlikely since early voting dominates in that state.
  • Cruz wants everyone else to drop out as he's in second place now (nobody will)
So all in all it's a giant mess that leaves trump in a strong position.

I'll give the Republicans credit, at least they know how to tell the establishment to go to hell. Respect to the Trump supporters in that regard...God damn it Democrats. Way to bend over

I'm still going to vote for Sanders when it is time for the caucus in my state, but I am not optimistic after tonight. Time to look at third parties, throw away vote or not I want to be able to look myself in the mirror.
