All discussion of the candidates, updates and results should go here

For example- here's a video of Ted Cruz vying for world domination.

Also Hilary Clinton is a crook and nobody should have sex with her.

Discuss

Why does the Democratic Party feature such disproportionate representation from uncommitted delegates, compared to the Republicans?
The Democratic Party attracts more crazies than does the Republican Party and even the people who call themselves "democrats" understand the need to check the will of the masses.

Reince Preibus and other GOP higher-ups have often expressed their dissatisfaction with Trump, so wouldn't they be trying to muscle him out the same way Hillary has effectively locked out Sanders?
They can't exactly switch to a Democrat-esque superdelegate system at this point in time; they're mostly stuck with the rules that are already in place.

They're completely cowed by and terrified by the crazy wing of their party, even to the point that they'll be cucked out of the White House for it repeatedly.

:story:

Thats because the democratic party hates its base.

Say what you want about the GOP but they have some kind of respect for their base.

Abject, pants-shitting terror isn't respect.

hey whats the difference between a hillary supporter and a 9/11 hijacker? a hillary supporter cant pay for a plane ticket with food stamps

seriously the people in chat know that neg rating this will just make me laugh :sighduck:

It would really be a better joke about Bernie supporters, since most of Hillary's biggest actual supporters, who fund her campaign, are obscenely wealthy corporations like Goldman Sachs, from whom she has taken literally millions.

The Republicans aren't above changing how they allocate delegates during conventions after they've been selected, but it would be political suicide for them to do so if Trump won the popular vote for the nomination.

Because they know that Trump is not only a lunatic, but vengeful. If they pulled something like this, he would do a suicide run as a third party just to destroy the GOP as his enemy.

That's a classic Trump move. He's Andross. If he can't win, he's taking you with him. Hell, even if the GOP nominates say, Cruz, he'd do this anyway. It's Trump as the nominee, or Trump uses his leverage to make sure the GOP loses. That's the art of the deal.

I'd say that it's more than likely that Trump will be the nominee. Even everyone else other than Rubio dropping out of the primary race wouldn't sway it in his favor.

The republican establishment favor rubio as he's seen as more electable, they've been doing whatever it takes behind the scenes to bost him. Fuck, the media like the idea of rubio too.

What is it with America's political establishment and rubio? He's a sucky candidate who according to reports is lazy and cracks under pressure. Hilary would stand a better chance against him because he's ineffectual.

The Problem with this thought process is Trump has actual fucking support. The GOPs plans on ruining his getting the nomination are not going to mean anything if Trump acquires the Delegate threshold.

The real third party split is within the Democrat side. Bernie may not run a 3rd party campaign, but even right now I am opening my own eyes to the split within the Democratic party this year. Hillary, old queen of the damned, destined nominee as Stupid Romney was, will not make people want to vote for her.

Bernie, has that edge.

Trump is gonna get it. Not just the nomination, the actual presidency.

I shouldn't find this as funny as I do.

You're not the only one. There's something mesmerizing about someone who can effortlessly deflect so many attacks. Even the most seasoned politicians have a hard time doing that. Trump does it effortlessly.

A trump presidency would damage America but it's so damn entertaining watching him work

Carson seems to me totally detached from reality, I can see him staying in the race up until the national convention.
CWC of politics

I feel bad for Bush, he seemed to be the more intellegent of the brothers Bush, and he got no aknowledgement

Yes, and then Hillary will be dragged out of office in 2020, kicking and screaming, after terrorism strikes again, and the American people get tired of all this leftist BS. Hoping for Donald, but Americans are still too complacent.

I can't understand why anyone who considers themselves even slightly liberal would ever vote for Hillary Clinton. She's joined at the hip to Wall Street and even compared to the Republicans is one of the most corrupt capitalists in American politics.

She has vagina so that is basically +50 oppression points over Sanders
