All discussion of the candidates, updates and results should go here

For example- here's a video of Ted Cruz vying for world domination.

Also Hilary Clinton is a crook and nobody should have sex with her.

Discuss

If Clinton takes the nomination I wonder if the Dems will be able to rally the party back together.

A lot of Sander's support will be mighty pissed that Hillary won and may end up not voting at all.

honestly, I can actually see President Trump happening now.

What a weird place we've come to when Donal Trump is the best choice

I'm so glad we dodged a Bush vs. Clinton ticket, and I fucking hate what George W. did to this country... but in the end, I'm going to miss the turtle. Jeb! and his rivalry with Trump was the funniest part of this campaign, and probably the funniest goddamn thing I've ever seen in politics. Now that even the awkward punching bag has given up hope the whole race seems just a bit more depressing.

Please clap.

Of course, the MSM predicted a long night, but of course, the reality was a landslide.

Make it Great Again.

Please clap.

Is that tweet from the real Jeb? I can't tell what's more sad, that or the "please clap" video.

I love how earlier on people didn't realize the "please clap" moment was a real event until they saw the video.

Musical remix with strippers (Spoilered for minor NSFW panty shot thumbnail):

Yeah that's autistic. They thought they had a solid chance in this state after the polls shifted so much, Sanders only lost by two points so It could have been worse.

I think they were expecting, if not a win, an effective draw like they got in Iowa.

If Rubio can suck up all of Bush's support he might still be in it with a chance. Kasich is likely to take at least some of it, though.

It's possible that in the future, after 4 years of Hillary, Republicans will be denouncing Kasich for selfishly staying in a contest he had no hope of winning, splitting the 'moderate' vote and ushering in the doomed Cruz or Trump. Doubtful though. Not because the scenario is unlikely, just because the minutiae of the mid-to-early primary process rarely survives in the popular memory once it's generated an actual result.

I am very glad Jeb! is gone, the only thing he seemed to be able to say was "Donald Trump is not gonna win the nomination." Just like all the doubters, who are still doubting. That includes my father!

Well, I'll be acquiring my Trump swag next month, I sure could use that "Make America Great Again!" Hat during the summer time, and working on a tourist island, I sure would love to discuss with them why Trump should be President.

Hell, in summer 2015, well before I accepted Trump as my candidate, I was warning young people of the dangers of Hillary.

I am absolutely loving everyone's slow realization over the past month that it's going to be Trump. Even more funny is that some people are still in denial.
My FIL is a staunch liberal who votes republican in NH for candidates he doesn't think stand a chance, I'm going to cry laughing if it turns out he voted for Trump because he didn't think he'd get it
