And now you looked up CNN's defense which does make a lot of sense. They were discussing Hillary's response to a specific question, and the interviewer reminded the interview subject of the Hillary's response.

Instead of finding that clip to begin with to respond to my post, you quoted me and said it's useful to rate posts like mine autistic instead of finding that article to explain the video.

He could have, but he obviously only just found that article because you pushed him on it, and is now trying to make it look like you're in the wrong for not automatically believing in the media and taking issue with his weird and convoluted explanation.

He changed his entire reasoning for why the CNN reporter said what she said after he looked up CNN's response to the video and learned exactly what happened. He then shared this information with the thread. That actually contributed to the thread.

I disagree, since he didn't just rate my post and move on, he found an article to disprove that CNN clip. He actually went forth, spent effort to show me why the video sounded so strange, and learned himself the reasoning for it. He then put it in this thread for everyone to see instead of an autism logo by someone's post.

You don't know what a focus group is, do you? The interviewees talk about their impressions, and in the ones that are televised those impressions serve as preinterviews so the host knows who to talk to. This occurs on every network that does them.

The link I posted served as further explanation, and I'm glad it helped disabuse you of your conspiracy theory. I was wrong about its ability to do that.

I still think the problem for me is that the autistic view is the one you jump for first, and in my experience it's usually a waste of time to debate with autism.

Judging by the cheers for Trump when he mentioned Shelton And Co., and later on, putting Hillary in jail, the women in the audience didn't think she was a champion for women.

And I noticed a lot of women in the audience. Not least of all Shelton And Co.

And why is it my responsibility to find resources to point out what's common sense? The burden should be on you to think about what you are posting and ask yourself, "Am I posting something stupid?" Exceptional claims require exceptional evidence.

If you are quoting my post and saying it's autistic, maybe you should back up your own assertions about exactly how it is autistic with some evidence like you eventually did.

Otherwise, if your contribution to the thread is commenting that posts in this thread are autistic, you are the reason the autistic rating got taken away.

Trump threw out every right wing talking point and theory on Clinton he could find last night. She laughed at it and moved on. And there's a reason she was giggling. Because she knows, better than the entire republican base seemingly, how little all that shit is going to matter. She's been doing this 30 years. She's been up against the same kind of attempts at character assassination for 30 years also. If anything has been proven in that time it's that if she just ignores this shit it fades by itself. Because it does. Always. Especially if she's up against Senor Donaldo who sucks up negative attention like some sort of deranged vacuum cleaner

What's actually optimistic here is assuming that Trump is capable of bucking a well established trend of personal attacks on Clinton biting the attacker in the ass.

Whether those attacks have any merit to begin with is a separate issue.

My point was that Trump's attacks are failures from the get go. Because they are. The audience in the debate hall can scream until their heads explode, they aren't the whole country. In the rest of the country people are seeing the long list of increasingly wacky theories Trump throws out about the Clintons and, true to form, decides that Donald is an idiot. I can say this with confidence because it has happened throughout Bill and Hillary's entire political career. He is not the first person to try any of this.
