3mil can be reached, don't underestimate the power of normies and biodrones. Biodrones are one of the most autistic and fanatical fandom.

Normies read stuff like the Metro and Vice and what have you for their game reviews. Even the mild-mannered Metro newspaper is taking a huge dump on it.

Tumblr is exploding because apparently Jaal is straight

I'll give Bioware credit for one thing - they triggered the fuck out of Tumblr by keepin' it straight, so to speak.

Also I love the edits people make:

Lets be fair here, ME3 was okey if you modded the ending out.

This game... oh boy. All that pandering and the SJWs hate it too, because there had to be a straight person in it. Normies hate it too for the pandering and space trannies. This is why pandering to SJWs is a bad idea. You won't please them but you'll alienate your normal fanbase.

For a story and character driven game like mass effect, two things are most important. Writing and character animation.

Here both are rather bad. The characters are down in the uncanny valley so far, and the cringey fanfiction writing is just mixing bad with bad. The game fails at its most important features. The combat is said to be buggy too, but honestly if I just wanted combat I would replay ME3 for free and not waste 60 euros on this instalment. Overall, shameful from an "AAA" developer.
Come on no renegade option? A hot asshole Jane Shepard was such fun.

I'm just glad that this is not the team working for the Old Republic. It was said to be a very "girl" game because exactly how good and pretty the character creator was. In fact it was quite hard to make an ugly character, especially a female one there. Turns out women like to look like a pretty space wizard with a glowstick! I will never shit on the devs there again, and I'll never shit on Koth's antics either. That game has gay romance options too but manages it without this cringe. Even DA2 managed to have Isabella, a non straight but hot looking latin pirate woman, way better than this crapfest. Which proved that you can balance inclusive without going full cringefest.

But now we get Lara Croft's autistic sister. Shepard must have had a laugh after sending all the tism to Andromeda.

The northern european lesbo doctor. Wasn't she supposed to be muslim? Ooooh... we know what happened to Sweden now!

We now know that Chris got laid, and Crystal married a guy called Ryder. They share that stare.

I don't really think DA 2/DA:I is comparable to ME 3/ME:A, at least in terms of lost fans. DA 2 was just shitty. ME 3 was Aliens: Colonial Marines tier lies, combined with a blatant disrespect to the player base. Not to mention spite. Obviously, depending on what point in time you came in its going to affect how you feel about the ending. I was one of the ones there from the beginning, and followed the game from 2 to release, generally. I'm generally not typically, but ME 3 is why I no longer pre-order games and considered myself to be done with Bioware in general.

In any event, I'm torn on 3 million numbers. On one hand, gamers will buy anything, especially Biodrones. On the other hand, you couldn't google or twitter anything about Mass Effect Andromeda without those fucking faces. Even normies will google something before they buy it. A big part of me cannot believe this thing is going to push 3 million units in a week with all the negative press this is getting. Maybe a million, a million and a half, ok. Possibly. 3 million? No fucking way.

Yeah, as I said, if you modded exactly that shit out of it. There was more than one mod that changed that crap ending stuff.

Though, looking through the mods, I see that there are a lot of ending mods and one with the Citadel DLC that actually makes it the true epilogue to the game and chops out any mention of them being on shore leave. Not to mention mods that completely alter the ending and give you a slide-show like classic Fallout to see what happened.

Leave it to modders to fix the fucking dumb cunts who ruined 3. Maybe I'll just give the trilogy a go again with mods just for the hell of it. Maybe not 1 though. That shit did not age well.

I never played the Citadel DLC but it's basically one long slice-of-life "episode" where you just go around talking to the crew members right? That never gripped me, at all. When it comes to narrative stuff, I hate pointless sit-around moments where the characters just stand around playing with themselves when there's work to be done. Doubly so in a video game where I'm ostensibly there to play a game.

No it's an evil clone story. But there is a massive party at the end.

That's funny, I'm exactly the opposite. I thought ME3 was a bit of a letdown, but overall okay, while I hated DA2 like poison.

It was mostly a send-off to all of the characters with a final mission, pretty tongue in cheek and light hearted. Which VASTLY contrasts with the shitty tone of the ending.

Yeah, I imagine it varies. Some people were let down by ME 3, but hated DA 2 and thought DA:I was the worst game they ever played
