Holy FUCK. This FUCKING scene. It was about 4 in the morning when I saw this shit, I was streaming this mess to friends and suddenly this animation abomination decides to pop on screen and wake me the fuck up. All of us were dying, shit was great. Yesterday I just encountered another animation fuck up with Vetra's romance scene which made me die again. This game is so good. So fucking good.

They are getting desperate for sure. It's virtually unheard of for a so-called AAA game to go on sale so early after its release. Things are not looking good for Bioware's continued existence. My guess is that EA gave them a minimum sales goal, and if they don't reach it, they're going to be shut down.

I don't think they will close down the whole three studios of Bioware. TOR for example still gives okey profits. If you can't sell Starwars you can't sell anything.

But the C team and their studio that made this game are propably going down for good.

I know it's not directly related to the topic, but what class would you reccomend for an overall experiance in the original trilogy? Thinking of doing a run as a sendoff to Bioware probably getting downsized/consolidated.

I always just went soldier but than I loved the dakka. And got myself a few biotic powers too for good measure with the save game editor.

Is that a Female Krogan or a Gay Krogan, I'm expecting them to say "get your tight little Krogan ass out of here"
Is that the same person who voiced the salarian with the excessively musical gay sibilants because they have a near-identical lithp

It really depends on how you want to play. Do you wanna be a space wizard or a space marine?

My favorite play style in the trilogy was always biotic heavy, you're incredibly powerful (especially in ME1) with it, throwing enemies around like ragdolls. But it's a slow start, as in the first 2 games if you go pure biotic (adept) you are restricted to a pistol, which some people might not enjoy. Personally I found pistols to be the best weapons in the game, a great mix of range, accuracy, rate of fire, and damage. By mid game you'll be getting pistols that can put down even geth primes in short order.

There's definitely merit in being a soldier for access to better weaponry though. They usually have great crowd control mechanics and better damage resistance, but no wizard power. Generally the more wizard powers you have the more squishy you are.

I never played engineer or other hybrid classes much but I'm sure they have upsides. Vanguard in particular I hear is a very good hybrid, high risk high reward play style. Lore wise I definitely prefer biotic classes because you get a unique perspective on how mistreated biotics are in the ME universe.

Heh. I always went soldier as well. More guns that way; it's hard for me to say no to that! I then left the fancy superpowers for my squadmates. But then again, I never was a super hardcore player. I may eventually replay the first two games with another class, and maybe try going full renegade this time.

I like to pick my party based on personality, so making Shepard a soldier gives me more freedom of choice in that regard since any combination of characters will pretty much work if you have a soldier as your squad's backbone.

Renegade is the best way to go. I especially liked the ME1 soldier where you could mod your gun's ammo and just have a gun for every situation like in Borderlands.

I know a lot of people found it too complicated, but I really liked how you could mod and change all your squad's armour, guns and mods.

I also liked the "overheat" instead of ammo count mechanic. It was a nice unique gimmick.

You can mod guns to use vintage heat sinks in ME:A so they behave more like ME1 guns and its great because 9/10 times they function much better than their unmodded thermal clip variants. Really kind of funny when you think about the lore explanation for thermal clips in ME2 was that they increased effectiveness in the field by reducing cooldown time. Meanwhile you play ME1 and you can shoot fucking your assault rifle for around 30 seconds or more without any issues in heating. And in ME:A if you just don't push your gun to overheat then you cool down super fast and can just fuck shit up with any gun without caring about ammo.

I'm a big fan of Infiltrators. They're built totally inappropriately in the first game (they're supposed to be glass cannons but are almost as durable as Soldiers, with bonus shields on top of Fitness) but still fun to play, and Tactical Cloak in the sequels is a lot of fun.

Halo would like a word with you.

Why am I not surprised the Krogan is the saving grace of companions?

The game has been out for a few days and it's already on sale at a few places. Lets check the user score on metacr-Oh my.

At the moment it is a freebie throw in if you buy an XBox One Bundle, apparently any of them. I have no idea how common a practice this is, but it seems weird that a game of such recent vintage would get this treatment. Spoiler for size.

Never did Halo, the human's outfits looked like the Doomguy's short bus version to me, but that is just a personal taste thing.

But if they had the same mechanic, that's fine, but it does not devalue ME1's use of it.

Saw a commercial for ME:A on the telly yesterday and it had the infamous punching scene in it. I struggled not to laugh.

No surprise that the critics were paid to lie but...oh my god look at those user reviews.
This game will go down in history, and not the good kind.

CD Projekt, we're counting on you.

I was thinking vanguard or sentinal just because my console playthrough was Adept and my 1st pc run was as soldier. Never did hybrid classes.
