Okay so I think I made sense of that. Bioware is using that image for all the special editions of the game. They let you have the option to buy the model car separately from the game or buy them as a bundle. So it makes sense to have that image on pages that don't include the game as a bundle but it makes no sense to put it on the pages with bundles.

i'd say that is incredibly auts to even consider as a developer but then again with the types of people that are defending this ugly unpolished turd i wouldn't be surprised if there are people that consider a shitty toy a boon
 
Wow, I didn't think it would be this bad, if GameSpot is only giving it 60/100 it must be a train wreck.

Thankfully it comes out a day later here in the UK so I was able to cancel my preorder today. :)

People seem to jumping on the SJW bandwagon as a theory as to why Sara Ryder looks like shit, I don't think it's likely not in the least because doing that on purpose is a massive insult to Jayde Rossi whose she moddelled off

More likely they just totally fucked up the design due to imcompetance, rushed deadlines and the engine being a piece of shit. Bioware's corporate culture has been slowly subsumed into EA's for quite some time, you can at see it as far back as Mass effect 2 if you know what to look for, it's just begining to hit critical mass.

I keep getting this weird Maria Bartiromo circa 2001 vibe from the Sara Ryder character. Somebody should dub closing Hong Kong bond prices over her dialog.

Except that all the male models look fine but all the female ones are terrible.
 
Oh and I was wrong about PeeBee's sex scene; both Ryders can fully bed her instead of fooling around in that zero G chamber. But you wanna know something funny? You know how in Fem Ryder's sex scene Peebee looks like she's riding Fem Ryder's girl dick? Yeah, that's because they recycled the fucking animations from male Ryder's scene.

Honestly I suspected this was the case. Not really any more appealing though. Peebee is just so off-putting, both in looks and personality. She absolutely reeks of some nu-male's waifu.

Quit being exceptional. What it saved is development time - this project seems like it was really really rushed towards the end. The full sex scenes probably was a late addition to the game in an attempt to boost sales.

Saving animation budget for other things by repeating animations isn't unusual.

No shit sherlock, it appears you still have not found a sense of humor. Everybody knows that this game needs months of development time in the least. They did have five years apparently, I wonder what they did for that time. Make sure diversity quotas are met?

More likely went through about twelve different scripts, had to scrap at least half a build, redo another build of animation and everything and then scrap THAT due to EA, and then had to rush this game in like 2 years.

you also forgot the literal fact that the dude behind the shitshow is a racebaiting lib and the leading animator is a direct graduate niBBa
there's no real excuse at this point in time. EA fucked up, montreal fucked up and unless they pull a 180 and have the best script possible this game is going to fucking tank.

That's the 12 different scripts bit - lead animator being trash explains a lot but a rushed project explains a lot more in terms of overall bugs and little things being off.
