Really don't know where they can go with the story. Andromeda wasn't compelling at all story-wise.

Plus - from what I've seen Liara (If I remember right) is out searching for Shep which kinda negates decisions made in the trilogy, I guess they can say fuck it and make one set of decisions cannon.

I never played Andromeda but people who did said the actual gameplay was ok if a bit generic. It was all the other shit like story, characters, ect that was unbearably bad.

Its on Unreal 5 so it will look and run like a compressed youtube video, but at least it wont be as buggy as Andromeda

Mass Effect has been dead for a decade. People who are getting excited for this have no one to blame but themselves when they are inevitably disappointed.

They would have to set the story centuries after the end of 3 just so the fandom doesn't explode over the canonization of an ending.

And even then, if there are no Reapers controlled by Shepard or if no one is a weird cybernetic-organic hybrid then it's pretty clear destroy is de facto canon.

Yeah, the gameplay was ok but all the rest was pure shit, from the story to the characters. They rewrote the lore to fit their [current year] views, etc.
