Amazingly, no. He's still MiA. It's lending support to the "Waid is hated by Marvel higher ups and was ordered to go off the grid while Zack preps for the lawsuit to avoiding giving more ammunition."

I like to imagine CB Cebulski mashing his face into a monitor where that dumbass interview is posted and snarling, "This is as good as a signed confession, you fucking moron!"

But maybe I've been reading too many comic books.

Gotta be patient, when I made the thread I put a disclaimer that we’d have to wait until he peeks out again. There’s still stuff in the archives that can be made fun of, check the social media section of the OP.

Ah I take it marks one of these people who doesnt know the term itself is derrogatory in origin and implies you're completly disinterested in social justice then

The reason they call it social justice is because it isn't actual justice.

I'm pretty sure the term wasn't originally negative, it gained a negative connotation largely due to it being used sarcastically.

Like, it refers to people who claim to fight for Social Justice, but really come across as being insincere.
They claim to fight for Social Justice, but really just want to be an asshole and this justifies their behaviour.
Or claim to fight for Social Justice, but are really wanting to score points with their in-group/get money from them.
Or claim to fight for Social Justice, but are really predators who want to lure potential victims/deflect attention from their past.

The term 'Social Justice Warrior' was derogatory from its conception, since it was originally a term used by activists to make fun of people on the internet who talked a lot about injustice but never actually did anything IRL about that injustice; it was more similar to the term 'keyboard warrior' than anything else.

I'll admit, my source on this is wikipedia, but the terms does predate its use as a negative for decades, going as far back as 1991.

I always like to point out that a white community lynching black men for supposedly touching a white woman was also social justice, in its day.

They don't seem to like that.

See, the issue with the SJW term is it's nicked, battered, bloodied and used in various contexts which means its probably going to be decades later before we have a "new" definition nailed down.

In the UK the term "snowflake" is used more often because the second the heat is on to actually do something these people melt the fuck away.

snowflake probably wouldn't work with Mark though. It's pretty likely without his bosses to restrain him, he'd just keep chimping out for our pleasure

The term social Justice was first used by a jesuit in the 1840's but t didn't have the same meaning then as the one it has today, it is arguable that certain aspect of social justice preceed even the coining of the term

"Social Justice Warrior" was never innocent. It was always a satirical term implying the subject is a holier than thou, self-righteous silly person with more enthusiasm than ability or knowledge.

I really cannot understand why left-wingers wouldn't be more interesting in fighting for economic justice. Social justice means nothing if you don't have food and shelter.
