His dog analogy doesn't work with a well trained dog. Every pet I've had has been trained to not be food aggressive, and no pain was involved... For the pet, anyways. I ended up with some nips in the process, but it was worth it and food could be from the animals mouth without them being concerned or aggressive. I did the same with making sure the animals could be handled even by kids, and the vets were pretty impressed.

Pain and fear should not be confused with love and trust.

My favorite part about that is his argument essentially boils down to, "Because some dogs like some specific food more than others, women are supposed to be submissive sextoys."
