So I did some sniffing around, curious about how much money this guys could possibly be making. He has 17.5k visible messages but the global count is something like 50k, meaning there is an inner circle in that forum somewhere.
Also many of his users have post counts in the 1000s and his personal post count is like 11000 or 12000 so he's a full 1/5th of all board activity. Another interesting thing is that many of the users have only a single post, as a matter of fact this seems frequent. Especially users asking for scholarships, indicating that most of them are socks or he's being stingy.
If he currently has 50 paying users he's only making 1000/mo the most users that were ever online (including guests) was 300 something. If they were all paying users he'd barely be making 75k a year which is comfortable but given it's an unlikely ceiling on his earnings it's not exactly the sort of success that would qualify a man to be anyone's life coach. For a dedicated psychopath who can make great powerpoint presentations it's even rather low.
