Likely fake. Any real 40k fan would have used a Black Templar* not an Ultramarine. Also the greaves mark is mismatched.

* Black Templars HATE magic, they really hate it. According to Space King they hate furries too.
FAKE FUCKING FAN ALERT! FAKE FUCKING FAN ALERT! DOESN'T KNOW WHAT MK.V HERESY ARMOUR IS ALERT!

My good saar! That is clearly a Battle-Brother in extensively customized armour, or due to necessity a set of Mk.V Heresy Pattern Armour. As you should know, Mk.V was a stop-gap, and used whatever armor parts would not only fix the armor, but were capable of working together. After the Horus Heresy, the process only got better. Here's some examples from the Badab War:

This Battle-Brother of the Howling Griffons Chapter is practically a 1-to-1 if not for the Mk.III Paulrons.

That Ultramarine (the poster boys of the game) is clearly rocking a Mk.VII Aquila Armour fitted with Mk.VI Corvus legs and a MK.IV Maximus Helmet.

Null secretly yearns for an arrogant blonde haired white girl wife.
Secretly? I remember Lidl Drip, lol. She never struck me as brown, personally...

FINALLY!
Toys and media I care about!
I will say that I think J.K. Rowling missed out on a lot of money not doing the George Lucas thing and letting different media companies/authors do stuff in the universe because she really never thought about worldbuilding as much as people like him, Tolkien, Roddenberry, etc did. Why not let some talented and grindful fan artist make the genderbend manga/webtoon spinoff and make that sweet, sweet money? Especially if it's like Malfoid and conviently pisses off the kind of people you don't like AND is already organically interesting to your audience?
I don't get the hype, though. I never liked HP, and this kind of thing seems like playing with dolls but in your head on top of it, but this thread isn't for me so I won't judge.

That is true but it is an odd mismatch if you want to go with a marine for meme effort, you usually just go for regular Aquila mark 7. Using an Ultramarine instead of a Black Templar is the main crux terminatus here.

Abhor the witch:
Smite now the scions of the Witch!
Grant us the strength to pierce their unclean flesh!
To cover their fields with the pale forms of their blasphemous dead!
To drown the thunder of guns with the shrieks of their dying!
To lay waste to their citadels with hurricanes of fire!
To wring the hearts of their kin with unavailing grief!
To send them into the wastes of their desolated lands in rags and hunger, broken in spirit, worn with travail and begging for the refuge of the grave.
We ask it, in the spirit of wrath, O Master of Mankind.

The malfoid trend is such a brilliant idea that it gatekeeps itself three times.

1. The “foid” name immediately pushes the max sensitivity normies away.
2. Malfoy being a Harry Potter character which was created by JK Rowling also pushes the trans community away from engaging.
3. The trope of Malfoid being a racist anime tsundere further narrows down the audience

This leaves the targeted audience keep eating good and be happy whereas the non-audience can cry and seethe and be able to nothing about it.

Well it is comepletly just cope-farming. You're just pissing off troons by doing YWNBAW in it's final form. I'm not a big fan of Potter either, but my siblings were, so it was movie night many a time. So I guess like with Disney Adults it's a form of catharsis for me when I see the racist white-girl quote muggle crime statistics.

The fact they got the idea of armour modding is a miracle. At the end of the day, this is a tranny assmad about Rowling, and is trying to get 40k mongoloids to fight their battle for them. Or, the tranny is trying to piss of the Malfoid people to pick a fight with 40k people. The troon does not understand the overlap of someone who like 40k (secondaries not included) and someone who likes Malfoid.

I don't disagree, I just think they got a random 40k ack picture and shooped in the Malfoid instead of a tranny, but couldn't be assed to use the proper chapter.

I love ya bud, but you're being a little too autistic about this.

Edit: I figured why it isn't a Black Templar. BT is a chud chapter, and the tranny is so assmad they won't allow itself to be associated with a chud chapter.

Even has a school for training powers and a tournament arc.

You could easily turn Harry Potter into a shonen anime with a few tweaks here and there.
Cirque du Freak got a actual official manga interpretation with hardly any animefication and it was even less anime than HP in retrospect

Because they’re a Harry Potter character(which they hate), she’s cute/pretty(which they hate) and she’s 100% a real woman and not trans(which they hate).
I don't believe any of them hate Harry Potter. They all grew up reading and watching magical Nancy Drew. They were so in love with the world that they'd go to amusement park and resort themed around Hogwarts. They defaced Paleolithic cave paintings with that fucking triangle thing. They named their fucking resistance movement Dumbledore's Army. They would've died for JKR if only she hadn't said that trans women are men. That slight and her refusal to bend the knee burns them more than anything. Now we picked up their childhood toys, remember that their childhood is one of the biggest things that they never want to let.go, that they broke and threw away, fixed them up, and now we're having a helluva time playing with them. They are powerless to stop us from playing with our Malfoid and Lady Hellfire action figures.

On top of that, we are having fun and they can never partake in it or weasle their way in like they always have becuase of their faggot tantrum they threw years ago. They cannot win this battle by any reasonable method.

I vaguely recall that Voldemort turned le Bad because Hitler bombed London and killed his normie parents so he went full normie death.
He didnt have a cute girlfriend during school. The Chad school jock vs virgin love potion baby. Immediately and completely blackpilling. Honestly from that angle everything he did is understandable.

A story with conflict and friction is interesting. Consider any action movie and if you'd actually want to be in a firefight in real life.
I understand this as pertains to quality narrative structure, but I don't think that's the way the vast majority of people are parsing this meme. I think almost everyone is thinking "man I really wanna fuck that girl who's 85% problems by volume" ("making men yearn" is literally the artist's professed intent and I doubt the end of that implicit sentence is "...for a story with conflict and friction"), and I was just criticizing that preference I see in people.

As you say, it's fun to read a story about, I just see this occur as a real romantic preference in many people and I've basically never seen it end up well, so I was just gesturing towards the idea that, at some point, maybe you'd figure they'd learn not to put their hand on the stove.

I think I'm derailing the thread though, sorry friends.

Having long been in this camp of 'crazy girls fuck good is just cope for not even knowing what a healthy and loving relationship looks like', and also being driven back to fan writing by this trend, I think my .02 might help make a whole bill here.

'Smoothing out the edges' was a good way to put it, but I feel like it fits better for strictly adult relationships, when both personalities are mostly set in stone and the exchange of a relationship becomes a touch-up on what is more or less already there. One of the ways that HP works very well compared to it's world building or the mechanics of it's politics or magic is how it handles coming-of-age, and the process by which children both discover and decide who they want to become. In that regard, it's less of a 'I can fix this disgustingly broken Cluster B chick and get the memetic grippy-sock-pussy along the way' and more of a 'meeting you gave me perspective on things I would have never been able to cope with otherwise, and that protected me from ever becoming a fundamentally broken person in the first place'.

We are all having a lot of fun with the whole chud humor side of things where Malfoid is the smug racist noticer, but what really makes this appealing to me on a genuine romantic level is the posibilities offered by that exchange of perspectives, how it could change the context of formative experiences, and how that could change the outcome of entire character arcs. For Harry, that could mean learning from a Malfoid how to be more focused on an abstract purpose, how damaging it can be to take half-measures when the stakes are high, and a less naive sense of groups, individuals, and their real motivations. For a Malfoid, it could mean learning a more concrete sense that right is right and wrong is wrong, that most people can hold some worth and moral good in them despite all signs to the contrary, and that it's never too late to decide that you don't like a certain version of yourself, even if becoming that person seems inevitable. It isn't anything as simple as 'Harry teaches Malfoid empathy' or 'Malfoid makes Harry a chud', but more like showing how how two disparate but complementary perspectives can temper each other into new versions of the same basic people, that are now healthier and happier in regards to the world they live in.

Idk give me the puzzle pieces but it has a unique and unexpected appeal to the tortured and abused romantic in me.

Right on, it could just be that I was a little too pessimistic and the crowd for this (at least in some sizeable part) is actually meeting it on canonical/narrative terms. Perhaps I've just become too cynical.

Thanks for taking the time to write this, I appreciate it.
