This is a classic case of a battle coming unplanned. Considering the art style, that's surprisingly good detail work on that Mossberg. It even (more of less) accurately portrays the geometry of the action bars.
I was thinking about this today: Draco being a girl with a crush on Harry would add a whole new layer to his beef with Hermione. Because then you could see it as her getting jealous of the two of them being close, which would be cute. Funnily enough I remember seeing fanart of female harry getting shipped with Draco and being like “dang I wish that was me” when I was younger lol. No one can resist a smug blonde who is mean to you I guess
