I got some new sweaters and stuff yesterday, here's one of my favourites:
I'm a little sick so I covered my potato face.

Really?! Wow, that is good to know. I hate when lip products get too mushy, it grosses me out. Welp, I guess I'll spend my money elsewhere!

I have Fresh Sugar and I like it a lot! It's not too sticky and quite long lasting. I only use in the summer months as it's not strong enough for winter use. I'm using a Clarins lip balm atm and I love it so much, even if it's a bit too sticky.

Once upon a time I bought a pair of earrings from a little boutique and they became my favorite pair. And then I lost them. So I spent a couple years looking to find another pair or even anything similar, but didn't.

Until today when I was browsing World Market's online black Friday thing, and found the exact same pair for half price.

So I bought two pairs in case I lose them again. The end.

I was looking at Elegy Clothing again yesterday, and I hadn't really checked it out for a long time and I came across this

and omg that print. I need it so badly!!

BLACK FRIDAY MINDLESS CONSUMER WHORING from the comfort of the sofa <3

http://us.blackmilkclothing.com/collections/black-milk-sale/products/mermaid-jellybean-leggings

I've got one other pair of Black Milk leggings (purple circuitboards) and aside from my Lululemon Wunder Unders, they're pretty much the only ones I trust. I usually wear leggings wither dresses or tunic tops and the foils look like they're to die for. Gonna be a motherfucking Rainbow Fish all up in here.

Bought this and was glad I waited because it ended up getting marked down. No other clothes have really called to me since cleaning my closet out which is kind of nice because I have space now.

I bought some Aerie pajamas and liked them so much I ordered the matching tops. I donated a bunch of pajamas and was left with one flannel pair and two cotton ones so I decided to get some new warm ones for the winter.

Those Black Milk leggings are great :O

I haven't found anything yet :( Usually I at least buy some Sigma brushes because they have free international shipping on black friday. But I guess because the AUD isn't so great against the USD things aren't as mega massive bargain as they were in previous years.

Got two different moisterisers. An anti wrinkle one and just a basic regular one. I just turned 26 in October. You can. You can never start too early, my fellow sisters. I can just feel the big three-O creeping up on me like a sniper.

I am in a gradual transfer from a landscaper/labourer to getting myself into an actual profession. It will take me a few years of education and training By the time I'm done all that I won't be a spring chicken anymore. In professions, unfortunately women are judged for their appearance. Looking like an actual woman FTW.

It does not hurt to get more feminine and accept the fact that I can't be a tomboy forever.
I am afraid, but looking forward to growing up.

I got another part of my boyfriend's Christmas present today (Sonic pint glasses from Urban Outfitters so I can pour us some pints and recreate our childhood fears of Sonic drowning) and picked up a very slick rainjacket from Superdry. It was cheaper in store than online.

I have a Very Nice™ Burberry trench I've had for 9 years but really no short jacket that provides warmth in addition to being water-repellant. I do have a ski jacket but it's so puffy that it's not really worth being worn in the worst downpour here because I'm bumping into everything.

I know that feel. I'm only 25 but I feel like I'm no longer a spring chicken like all the other undergraduates on my university campus (hooray for being a super senior!). I know that there's only so much youthful appearance half-Asian ancestry will warrant me...

Moisturizer is da best to shoo away approaching wrinkles. Also abstaining from too much UV exposure, tobacco, and alcohol consumption. Now I'm not quite sure what moisturizer you're using, but as I mentioned earlier on this thread (page 18 specifically) pure argan oil is my hands down favorite. Depending on your skin type other oils such as rosehip, avocado, or jojoba may work better for you. Of all the plant oils I've tried, argan works the best for my skin. In any case, moisturizer keeps your skin supple, hydrated, and protected from the elements.

Now I've mentioned this scar cream on other threads, but I'll remention it here because it deserves it. It smells weird like Chinese herbs, but goodness does it vanish my scars. Though in some reviews I've read people have successfully used it as anti-wrinkle cream as well.

That's awesome because I have a couple facial ones that would greatly benefit from scar cream. The scratches I got from a stray scarred flat but a little red. I kept them very moist with neosporin and then vaseline as they healed but they could use a little jump. Another scar is on my brow bone from a stab wound in 2002. Unfortunately I didn't heal that one too well (being 12 and kind of *yawn* about skincare beyond making sure my face wasn't a pizza and continued to 'ply makeup over it) so there's a pretty little jagged puffy line right under my eyebrow.

What kinds of scars did you use it for, @Mourning Dove?

I'm 3o, very fair, Australian and I don't have any fine lines. Having bad skin as a teenager forced me into a routine and i've stuck to it. Also peels and retin-a help.

I use that scar cream for acne scars, stretch marks, and old injury scars. If anything, it really helps the redness go away. Right now I'm using it for a new scar from a cut and it's helping it disappear really fast. :)

Speaking as a Californian, I desperately need this one.

Lately I've been coveting suspender skirts, specifically pleated or skater-style ones. It's a shame they're a bitch to find in plus sizes (unless you're willing to shell out a fuckton of cash)--most of the ones in the style I want are from Japan, and Japanese sizes are super tiny anyway. :( I swear, when I learn to sew, I'm making a fuckton of adorable plus-size clothes for myself!

@Ancani , if you plan to teach yourself to sew, I'd like to recommend the book "Design-It-Yourself Clothes: Patternmaking Simplified," by Cal Patch, and "Fit for Real People" by Palmer and Alto. The former is the best introduction I know of, and the latter will help you take things to the next level when altering patterns for better plus-size fit. (Especially germane - the Phoebe skirt in "DIY Clothes" is a cute flared skater with inset pockets, and adding suspenders is an easy mod - there are tutorials all over pinterest and youtube.)

So many off-the-rack clothes are very cheaply made, regardless of price point - even as a beginning sewist, you'll quickly be able to make stuff that's nicer. It's a great hobby!
