Ugh, ModCloth's expensiveness is the bane of my existence. :(

Anyway, y'all seem like you'd be good judges of this kinda thing, so I'm gonna ask you guys a question. A fashion question.

I have a job interview tomorrow, and I'm trying to choose between the following four shirts:

(Apologies for the poor quality; I had to use my cell phone camera, and the mirror I used is kind of old and blurry.)

Now, obviously they're all adorable, but which one do you think would be best for an interview? I'm leaning towards the pink one but I'd like some input. If it helps, the skirt is darkish purple and about knee-length, so yeah.

The first one tucked in and with a belt.
 
I tried tucking the first one in, but unfortunately the skirt is a fairly form-fitting one, so it made my belly look huge. :( And I don't really have any belts that would suit. I could theoretically wear a different skirt, but I don't have many that would work for an interview.

I've more or less decided on the pink one, after asking my mom for some suggestions, but yeah.

Since the pink one has a low neckline, you'll probably want to wear an undershirt.

Coveting these so hard, garishness and all.

I wound up wearing a completely different top to the interview--a plain black long-sleeved top with a higher neckline. It looked really nice! (And I did well on the interview, I think, so...)

Anyway, here's a pic of my ever-growing collection of plugs and tunnels. :biggrin: It's missing two pairs (one pair of teal-and-black marbled plugs and one pair of plain blue plugs), but yeah.

I just got the two pairs on the far right today, I love them!

Awesome! What gauge are your ears at? I am 00. I just found a few of my 0G ones I never re-bought because I accidentally got one size up once and decided to stick at 00G. I still have my totally sweet 0G glow-in-the-dark glass plugs and some nice galaxies that were 2G but the flares were fucking huge.

Do I spy some opalite in that collection?

Mercifully my (fancy, expensive) horn carved 0Gs at least fit nicely into my earskins.

I'm at 0G. Probably won't go any higher, I don't think--I MIGHT go up to 00G someday but probably not. *shrug*

I'm guessing that the opalite thing refers to the pale bluish plugs. I'm not sure if they're opalite or not--I got them at a store in Washington while I was visiting my grandparents, and sadly we don't have that store where I live (it's a chain, but a very small one), so I can't just go in and ask, and I don't think I still have the packaging. For what it's worth, they feel more like either glass or acrylic than any sort of stone, to my touch, but I could be wrong.

Also, I feel like noting that the gear ones aren't supposed to have any grey on them, but I made the mistake of wearing them while cosplaying a Homestuck troll at a con, which, of course, led to grey paint getting on them...and since there are all sorts of little crevices in those plugs, it's a pain in the ass to clean all the grey out. :( I'll probably figure something out eventually, though.
 
I sold $202 worth of clothes to a consignment store. Some of it was me going "yeah I can totally drop two sizes and be in my high school jeans again!!" and the other part of me was "WHERE THE FUCK DID ALL THIS STUFF COME FROM!?"

Cleaning my closet was liberating and I feel great now that I'm not finding stuff that doesn't fit.

I also took some gift cards to Bath and Body Works today and went on a Kai-esque sniffing spree. I found a candle that smells just like motherfucking Soarin' Over California when the movie goes over the pine trees.

I also accidentally got lotion squirted into my nose from one of the testers and now everything thmellth like Parith Amoor.
