Nothing very similar comes up… I reverse image searched it and just for a load of Pinterest boards where the original had been pinned but no source… it’s so lovely, I wonder where it’s from?
I found this one from Goth n Rock. You could pretty easily switch out the belt. IMG_3767.jpeg

Guys can I please gush about my favorite instagram model? Barinovael. It is COMPLETELY UNFAIR how gorgeous she is. She could wear a fucking burlap sack and look like a million bucks.

But her choices of fashion are just hnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnngh.

Ughh that last outfit is 🔥 I’ve been eyeballing some similar pieces off SHEIN of all places but I absolutely love the elegant/vintage vibe.

@an_actual_reptilian was grow out on that a bitch at all? I’ve got super thick hair and am over it, I’ve been considering getting that exact cut but haven’t bit the bullet

I am unable to reply to or quote your post, but unfortunately a hair cut is simply out of the question lol. After someone I trusted mutilated my hair back in 2018/2019, it has been an arduous journey to get it back.
I think trimming them is really the only way, I am just unsure of the best method. Finances are tight, but I may have to surrender and go to a professional and see what they can do about.
I appreciate your take on the hair spawns of satan lol.
Lol it was a hot look for me.

Juss do it! Yeah growing it out was awkward but it was mostly covered up by the longer length, so it wasnt that bad

How do you handle these hairs of satan's unwaxed asshole? Is there some secret I am unaware of? Is there a way to trim them that would keep them out of my way, without making me look like a retard that stuck a fork in a power outlet?
late- i had this same struggle for so long!!! it was only alleviated when i covid shaved my hair. they were gone for good! and then overtime they grew at the same speed as everything else. i let my hair grow out to my shoulder blades or so, then i got a shoulder length bob, and at that point everything had been fully assimilated. i haven’t had problems with them since.
also, in the meantime you can tie your hair back in low or mid ponytails, not high at the top of your head. if you’ve been trimming those hairs too short then they definitely wont reach a high up ponytail, and thus will 100% stick out.
ETA: if you dont have any already, having face framing pieces at the front of your hair will help with the visual appearance (though not with the physical sensation of those evil hairs). i have yet to see a face that doesnt look better with some face framing!

I usually keep it in a braid, which tends to sit at the base of my skull. I think they're just still too short to stay in very long :(
The rest of my hair isn't suited for face framing, I purposefully avoided that while letting my grow:lit:
If I end up having some hair mishap, maybe I'll just go the bald route and hope it works for me like it did for you lmao
I appreciate the reply!:heart-full:

My sister put a set of acrylic nails on me a few hours ago for our holiday and I’ve somehow already managed to lose one. They didn’t even last until I got there! I think whoever invented these should be shot.
Were they actual acrylics or just press ons? I’m pretty busy with my hands and can almost always get mine to last for at least a couple weeks.

I agreee i knew someone who would use gorilla glue instead of nail glue, sure they lasted 2 weeks.... but her nails were ripped and torn to shreds whenever she took them off. She ended up getting nail infections. Personally, I'd love to have nice nail sets, but I do too much that requires my hands to be wet.

Just get them done at a salon by a professional and do your research on the tech beforehand. There’s a reason they go to school and do hundreds of hours before they’re licensed. It costs a bit more but the results are worth it.

Really all I want is an almond shape that looks natural. When you scout out a tech, what do you look for? Do you just go by reviews and a look of the work they've done? Like,... do you ask them any questions before you let them work on you?

I mostly read reviews and look at photos. Can they do a decent shape? How do the cuticles look? If nail art is important to you, how does that look? Usually when I call in and schedule for the first time at a new salon, I ask for the availability of whomever they say is best at the service I’m asking for. I.e. if I’m looking for an ombré I ask which tech is best at it and if they can book me with them. I’ve had some trial and error before finding a good place, I’ll usually let them work on me and if the work isn’t up to my standard I’ll just get my next set somewhere else.

I had posted this in the arts subforum as well and I hope you ladies go easy on me.
I would like some prominent fashion/model magazines from each decade, especially older decades. I would like to learn how to draw certain hairstyles and clothes belonging to the 40s (the brunette curls, lauren bacall style), the 70s (Jane Fonda Sharon Tate Hairspray hair), Y2K (Bjork Hair, Swedish punk clothes, Caramell Girls) etc. What would you guys recommend?

The press on ones. She at least used actual nail glue instead of the sticky pads, but I guess I must use my hands more than her because hers are still immaculate while all mine have come off. I guess her nail glue isn’t as good as she thought.

I think I like a squoval more than an almond shape. Kinda weirded out my the idea of my pretend nails not being the same shape as my normal ones.

I tried press ons during the pandemic when all of the salons were shut down. I came to the conclusion that press ons are not meant to hold for longer than a photoshoot.
