Yeah that's my bad I forgot what was written on Vanille. You are in green/black so it's not hard to find Fang through self mill and recursion plus tutors. I would say as individual cards Fang is fine and Vanille is just a more expensive eternal witness.
Yeah, the deck kind of builds itself cause Fang is pretty narrow.

Syr Konrad, Insidious Roots, The new enchantment that gains life when a card exits your Graveyard, Tenacious Underdog, Mosswood Dreadnight.

You will probably want a few big targets to reanimate, Deathbridge Chant, Portal to Phyrexia,

You can build a good deck that wont embarass yourself at 3/4 power...aside from being a fan of 13.

My main thought here is that the two look like a fun gimmick for a low power golgari deck that functionally has no commander.
I dont think anyone will really look low powered because the Meld is a nutso card with an ability that is build to be unfair

Edit : if you have an instant speed discard outlet Fang and a Dredge card is also instant self mill.

SHADOW WIZARD MONEY GANG!

the whole wizard tokens that ping you, they just hit right in my brain and after playing them and actually doing good at the pre release, i think ill commit to building them, maybe use Inalla or Kuja as a commander and go Brrrrrrrrr.

Ideas/suggestions are welcomed.

Use Kuja, Inalla has Eminence and that will get you targeted despite Inalla being trash outside of the one infinite turn combo she has.

I've considered a list for Kuja but honestly he's not wowing me. In the time it takes you to flip him and then spam a bunch of spells to ping with someone else will have overran you with their big nigger valuetown commander, meanwhile running boardwipes actively resets your plan.

Use some low CMC wizards like Dark Confidant and the like to flip him the turn he comes down.
I guess, but if you're not going all in on the token production then you're just going to end up giving pseudo-double strike to a tribe that's not known for combat and in return you're getting punched in the face by dinosaurs or dragons or Cloud Bustersword from the hit game Final Fantasy. I just don't see a lot of potential beyond him being one of your favorite FF villains. Which, for the record I'd love to be wrong here because Kuja is one of my favorite FF villains.

I think there are some fun payoffs

Doubling This trigger is pretty nifty, and Wizards are an Evergreen type so Kuja will get toys every set.

My EDH group that I've been playing with regularly for 4 years has just fallen apart. The cracks were there before but now we're pretty much past the point of no return. There's a game shop that hosts commander nights and it has some nice people but it's not really the same. Guess I need to find some new friends.

That sucks. What happened? Mine might lose a member soon

Would have gotten some games earlier today but MTG Arena had a fit and decide to shut down.

Guessing it was stressing with the amount of players coming in today, but I gave the Cloud Commander a go and holy crap I do not want to be on the receiving end of that card.

(Remember how FF7 has a whole vehicle section in it?)

Yeah, they added both the primary and secondary commanders into Arena.

I got 3 decks I'm theory crafting.

1st one is the Main Cloud Limit Break commander, man puts in the work plus setting up equipment for him to grab as soon as he hits the field is a pretty awesome feeling.

Chocobo BANT commander is also being worked on, pretty solid landfall deck with burds.

3rd is Tom Bombadil deck, good chunk of the new summons with a variety of summoner support, though I have had good luck with Defense of the Heart going off and pulling me the 5 Cost Yuna and Bahamut by turn 4.

Played with my playgroup this weekend. They have banned me from using Worldslayer(which is fine) after doing Boros Charm + Worldslayer. Cloud is super fun to just add some obscure/absurb equipment and go brrrrrr. I even got to use Tatsumasa which felt cool to see in play and make the token.
