Yes, the combo is infinite but fair. As your opponents can either destroy Aurelia or the Helm.

Godo is slightly more unfair because he fetches for the helm.

I have a Magda to whom I can sac five treasures to tutor for an artifact but Godo can be quicker, maybe? Don't know, for the moment I'll add the Helm and see how it goes. No idea why I never thought about that combo, guess having multiple decks to upgrade at the same time does that

Godo goes in the command zone he is always in your hand, its..effectively a Zero card Combo because one is always available for its normal casting cost the first time.
I get that, I meant in the 99.

If I draw either in the midgame, Godo is better, I was just wondering how it compares to drawing Magda early since she makes treasures when she becomes tapped

Same here! Thanks for the decklist I'll see if there's anything that works for me. I'm a bit autistic about it because, aside from mana rocks and most lands, I want every other permanent to be Legendary for the flavor. Would it be better with a few non-Legendary permanents? Sure it would, but my table is pretty low power so I can afford not minmaxing the deck. I'm still looking to improve it where I can though, so appreciated!

Hadn't really though about Helm of the Host + Aurelia, the Warleader before. That'd go infinte, correct? As the token copy would add another combat phase, and so on. I have both, Helm not in the deck, but I think I can make room for it. It's a late game 2-piece combo but should be fine, I feel
The Helm/Aurelia combo is cute and I tried it before but ended up cutting it for two reasons: firstly I only play with my group of buddies and infinite combos are kind of frowned upon and secondly I found that the best way to ensure Dihada sticks is to minus it into a 2-3 drop that can protect her/chump if need be. The Helm as some of the legendary enchantments are a bit of a liability in my experience and I've found the most fun/effective way to pilot the deck is to just jam legend after legend unto the board and protect Dihada. One day I hope I can ult Dihada, haven't had that happen yet.

I see, makes sense. We don't have an issue with infinites, if they're somewhat fair. Aurelia+Helm is even fairer than what we currently have, since it requires a LOT of mana, which realistically means you won't be doing it all in one turn, and Aurelia being a KoS creature on her own means it will be hard to pull off.

I agree with protecting Dihada, that's why I currently have 30 creatures in the deck, 19 of which are 3CMC or less plus a few creature token generators. Never managed to ultimate her though, lol, the +2/-3 loop is so good at generating value that, unless I have something like Lae'zel or Mila in play AND the other players are very low on creatures, I simply don't even try to go for enough loyalty. One time I did get Dihada to 13 before activation, but others had so little in play (I think I had to hit them with Urza's Ruinous Blast the turn before) that it would've made no sense to ultimate, so I simply continued with +2/-3

Honestly I am going to point you to the normal tie breaker

"Which one is lower CMC"

Stuff I'm hoping for from MtG FF, even if ridiculous:
  • materia artifacts
  • Aerith's holy materia
  • Contain / Forbidden materia card with an activated ability for each color
  • Leyline of Lifeforce new print as Leyline of Lifestream
  • FF unique leylines called Lifestream
  • Generic SOLDIER 1st / 2nd / 3rd class creatures
  • Airship vehicles
  • Generic SeeDs which bring Guardian Force or the new "Summon" cards into hand / play, similar to Lessons
  • FF9 artifact creature black mages
  • Brahne, Fat-Ass Butt-Ugly Queen
  • Aerith - while Aerith is in your graveyard, your opponents cannot win the game hahaha
  • The Iifa Tree, recycles the graveyard, grants your graveyard hexproof
  • FFT Calculator - tap: choose a: cmc, power, toughness, then choose b: 3, 4, 5, Prime, then destroy all creatures whose a = b. "Two plus two is FLARE."

My favorite deck remains Dihada because I get to play exclusively with cool legendary creatures and turn them sideways.
Personally I just run a front side Esika w/ a focus on combat.

Has served me well over the years especially when my creatures can easily double as mana dorks

WOTC got on their hands and knees and licked Disney's dick to get their Capeshit and didn't get it on Arena.

10/10.

The next time anyone brings up "BUT HASBRO CONTROLS EVERYTHING" point this out, there is no Way a Universes within set on Arena wouldn't sell enough to cover the extra costs.

Hasbro owning Wizards is probably the best thing to happen to them as any bad decision is Hasbro's fault and as such functions as a lightning rod. Remember when everyone blamed Bobby Kotick and Activision for all of Blizzards fuck ups only for it to come out OG Blizzard staff were the ones pushing a lot of the retarded monetization schemes and were the reason games weren't coming out because they kept fucking up how they managed them and the only reason original Over Watch came out was because Activision forced them to release something from all the failed projects.

Another Activation one : Remember when Bungie spun itself off and everyone exclaimed how Destiny was going to be amazballs now? Remember how that turned out? (it took years to get anything done lul)

Also, the Bracket/Ban list announcement is today.

Who is ready for Mana Crypt to get unbanned?

The five unbanned cards are now game changers and there's new game changers.
Here are the new game changers:
  • Teferi's Protection
  • Humility
  • Narset, Parter of Veils
  • Intuition
  • Consecrated Sphinx
  • Necropotence
  • Orcish Bowmasters
  • Notion Thief
  • Deflecting Swat
  • Gamble
  • Worldly Tutor
  • Crop Rotation
  • Seedborn Muse
  • Natural Order
  • Food Chain
  • Aura Shards
  • Field of the Dead
  • Mishra's Workshop
Trouble in Pairs and Trinnisphere aren't game changers anymore. Totally paying three mana for a one drop doesn't change games apparently.
