Seems like a pretty balanced set, the only popular new decks that have showed up that thus far might be T1 are Ruby Storm on the back of Ruby Medallion and Ral and Nadu decks. Lots of other cards slotted into other decks, but they mostly are different cards rather then making every deck go rakdos to cast monkey, fury and grief like MH2So what cards from MH3 are completely warping Modern?
I can smell the skooma through the screen.Khajiit has wares, if you have coin
I could use those duals, but they look fake.
He's just a little BeanI can smell the skooma through the screen.
Sir, this is a Commander set not a Modern set despite the name.So what cards from MH3 are completely warping Modern?
If you are talking about Nadu..I would say "Just remove" is a poor answer to him because even if you do it is a 2 for 1 automatically.Have people forgot what removal is now? Soon as a strong creature comes out players scream for it to be banned. Can't even use cheap enchantment aura's anymore because they can't use creature removal or a disenchant.
But but but the net deck doesn’t have removal so why should I add removal?? I’d have to cut one of my seven piece combo and then I can’t win on turn 20Have people forgot what removal is now? Needle in every deck isn't an amazing solution either to be honest..and if Needle is the best counter that means you want to run Saga..and well You can get Shuko with Saga so..you can just play Nadu and Needle!but to me it just means people should be playing pithing needle and blind naming shuko 100% of the time.
I had people flipping out due to a trashy attempt at red control in Standard back in December. It was like none of them could remember that Pyroclasm used to be a thing, and that using cards similar to Pyroclasm was somehow insulting. Their only cope when I asked about all the white sweeps was "Well, those are net decks".Have people forgot what removal is now? Soon as a strong creature comes out players scream for it to be banned. Goes for any strong creature that appears or enchantment/ equipment. Unless it has hexproof or ward than just remove it. Only colour I can't think of right now with decent removal is green which doesn't matter because you rarely see mono coloured decks now. All that tells me is that they were beaten by something too many times. It's like the Commander and Pauper ban lists. If you are talking about Nadu..I would say "Just remove" is a poor answer to him because even if you do it is a 2 for 1 automatically.
I rather enjoyed all of the mass removal we had for awhile, but I also like my control decks.I had people flipping out due to a trashy attempt at red control in Standard back in December. Oh no! And once it's removed how many triggers will you get after that? Magic players seem to have become as bad as Yugioh players when it comes to counting. It's no wonder CCG's are dying. No?
You know if you target Nadu they get the trigger right? "DUR HUR JUST REMOVE IT" isn't the problem. The basic problem is that at minimum your opponent draws (not really so you can't penalize it with Bowmasters/Sheoldred") a card if you interact with it..the problem gets worse when you realize that the controller could easily draw into protection effects (Counterspell, Tamiyo's Safekeeping, Scam stuff) so even interacting it an opponent that is empty handed can still lead to blow outs because the Nadu trigger.
The only reason that this isn't as gross as Hogaak is that the cards that Nadu combos with are just kind of shitty, where Hogaak had a bunch of cards around it that were playable on their own.
Not gonnalie, I miss board wiping six times and beating my opponents down with phyrexian hulk. Not a huge fan of needing a faux degree to play a literal game and having to look up a ruling every few minutes.Oh no! And once it's removed how many triggers will you get after that? I dunno..did they draw a second Nadu? Or have access to a Second Nadu because you drew them into a creature tutor effect?Oh no! And once it's removed how many triggers will you get after that?
It seems like you are the one not counting, at best just straight up removing Nadu puts you down a card compared to your opponent, and we are ONLY assuming straight removal spells (Burn is gonna have fun removing Nadu). The "One for One" Removal game doesn't work on Nadu because you are putting your opponent up a card even attempting it, that is the best case scenario, that is not great on it's own, that doesn't cover "It is a really bad idea to even attempt to remove it if there is Nadu and enough creatures to Chord out a Sylvan Safekeeper* to sac a land to protect Nadu."Magic players seem to have become as bad as Yugioh players when it comes to counting. It's no wonder CCG's are dying.
Lul Delighted Halfling wants to drag his Hairy Hobbit Nutsack on that idea anyways.answer it unless you're countering it
