Reserve list is dumb, anyone buying these for any reason is dumb and deserves to be milked. Hasbros of the Coast are assholes. Just buy from the Chinaman or print your own for fucks sake.

Gay arena digital news; Explorer Anthology II later this year and Shadows Over Innistrad Remastered first half of 2023. This includes Eldritch Moon cards too so while they specifically mentioned it I bet Emrakul the Promised End gets cut for technical reasons or is an unending source of bugs forever.

They screwed themselves over with Explorer, it is actually a somewhat fun format that is affordable to an ever increasing amount of players.
They can only temporarily milk it by bringing new cards to Arena which then leads to Pioneer becoming legal on Arena.

Which is why to increase profits they will make every explorer anthology 18 jank cards that are playable but not great and 2 cards that people actually want. And they will do it so infrequently the meta will dictate that you buy a bunch of standard cards in the meantime.

It probably belongs more on the community thread but it's a thing because Post Malone plays magic. He has been on Game Knights and multiple "I Hate Your Deck" episodes playing commander. They announced Posty doing MTG promo stuff on one of those.

When a celeb goes and does the equivalent of free advertising for you, I can't entirely blame them for asking him to do some deliberately.

The Watanabe one wouldn't even be hard with all the quality issues WotC has had at the printers. Long's could be Cadaviorious Bloom, Drain Life, and Elven Cache with an advertised Prosperity that doesn't actually show up in the lair

It's weird how quiet The Professor has been about the big announcement. As somebody who has been advocating for the removal of the reserved list for a few years now and has been openly critical about WOTC's business decisions, it feels weird that he's barely said anything about WOTC wanting to sell us booster packs with glorified proxies for $1000. The only thing he's mentioned was "It's nice seeing people talk about using proxies again" and that's it. I would have expected a video out right now.

Maybe he wants to make a podcast with his usual bri'ish co-host. That can take some time.
