Yes. Basically he was a young wizard on the ship when they went to Rath, and while the gang broke in to save Hannah (I believe) he stayed back near the portal to figure out how it works and if he could open it again. He figured that out and it's shown on his Exodus card with the portal in the background, but when the ship got there it was fleeing at full speed and he couldn't get on it before it escaped.is ertai the dude the weatherlight left behind in the land of evil or wherever? like the portal closed before he could hop on or some shit
I don't remember, I used to follow the story more but the details are gone.
Never really got the point of all this IP crossover other than "This will definitely print money for us!" but hey, maybe the Warhammer stuff will allow them to experiment with new mechanics or something. The MTG/Warhammer 40k launch video.

That's the back of the cards. But what you really care about is the front.

30th Anniversary Edition is a commemorative, collectible, non-tournament-legal product celebrating 30 years of Magic. Inspired by Limited Edition Beta, 30th Anniversary Edition lets fans and collectors experience some of the most iconic elements of Magic's early years.
Featuring the original art that inspired a generation of Magic fans, 30th Anniversary Edition is built with modern sensibilities and nostalgic roots. 30th Anniversary Edition will be on sale for the holidays, available November 28 for $999 on 30thEdition.wizards.com. And even with Magic growing tremendously throughout the past 30 years, we have gone back to our roots with a limited-edition print run.
While we wanted to share some of the experience, we also reinterpreted this product with a modern approach. We wanted to be nostalgic, but not everything met our modern standards. So, we removed six cards completely. The cards removed are:
Additionally, we made some smaller changes to a few other cards, mostly with flavor text.
- Contract from Below
- Darkpact
- Demonic Attorney
- Earthbind
- Weakness
- Crusade
I can almost smell the reserve list guys' tears from here.> "...available November 28 for $999"
> "Each display of 30th Anniversary Edition will contain four packs of pure nostalgia..."
They are out of their fucking minds. Double Masters was already absurd at $300 for 4 packs, this is over 3x the price for cards that can't even be played legally in any format and have a horrendously ugly backing.
When Alpha packs were originally released in '93, they were $2 a pack. 30 years later, accounting for inflation, that would be ~$4.10 a pack. These cards are $250 a pack, 60x their cost accounting for inflation and they don't even have the official MtG backing.
What a fucking joke - they talk about returning to their roots, but this obscene price point locks out 99% of the true day-1 magic fans and is only a celebration for those who have an extra grand to throw around on cardboard in the middle of a recession. WokeC continues to tarnish my favorite game and there's no end in sight for Hasbruh's greed.

I have no idea why this was removed.
Why though? Do they not understand Arabs aren't black?Apparently, Urza's wife got race-swapped, in the upcoming set:
So you can buy boosters of proxies for 1k$, why? This is just a retarded product and anyone who buys this has mental illness. They did it. The motherfuckers pulled off troll move of the year.

He has cripple arms, possibly cause he looks black. But I'm guessing it's the cripple hands combined with the card name.
Lol imagine continuing to let WOTC use Hasbro as a shield.WokeC continues to tarnish my favorite game and there's no end in sight for Hasbruh's greed.
