I wonder if Null has ever read the book or watched the movie Of Mice and Men. I feel like the whole Null and Chris dynamic has a lot of parallels to the book.

Now I'm just imagining Chris looking off in the distance and telling Josh about the merge, as Josh quietly makes sure Barb's gun is loaded...

You want to talk weird parallels?

In the Killing Joke, the Joker kidnaps Commissioner Gordon and tortures him in an attempt to prove that all it takes to turn a normal, contributing, sane man into a blubbering mental case is one particularly bad day.

In a previous Mad At The Internet stream, Null explained that his motivation in helping Chris was essentially the opposite of this: that if someone as fucked up and broken as Chris can manage to turn his life around and become a productive member of society, that anyone can. No one else would have any excuse.

Both experiments failed.

And in a bizarre and cosmic twist of fate:

Both stories hinge on the rape of Barbara.

i'll have to talk about ralph again (stress sigh) but after that week I hope he stops sperging long enough for me to enjoy a week without having to think about him

once I'm done with this very complicated part of my programming project i'll post a gumroad video about it
Wow this comment aged badly.

@Null I'm not entirely sure what neem oil is, but strong oils like essential oils can be diluted with more neutral carrier oils and put into a spray bottle. A carrier oil is something like almond oil, coconut oil etc
When I first started growing plants I experimented with a tiny bit of tea tree oil mixed with a carrier oil to burn off the aphids but I'm too heavy handed for that and fucked up the plant lmao
I still recommend dish soap and water in a spray bottle instead.

If you need some extra fat content this week. GlitterandLazers thinks if she has her entire fanbase spam Sports Illustrated and stalks them like a crazy girlfriend that she can get on their Swimsuit cover. It's extremly cringeworthy levels of obession she has going on.

When you're waiting for the Merge so you can finally enter the real world only to have it all ruined by one mother fucker.

You can have this arutistic work free of charge since we know Chris wont be making anything new.

Also, it looks like Youtube did something to their detection bot this week because a shit load of channels are getting hit for everything from harmful content to supporting terrorist organizations to medical misinformation, etc. followed by instantly rejected appeals.

How do you apply it?

"To make one litre of general-purpose neem oil spray, mix 5 mL neem oil, 2 mL of liquid soap and 1 L of water. Add the soap to the water first and then slowly stir in the neem oil." https://greenerideal.com/guides/0814-how-to-make-your-own-neem-oil-pesticide/

It is best to apply this mixture via some kind of spray bottle, using a mist setting you spray it all over the leaves (top and underside) and stems of the plant. You can focus on where the aphids are visible, but the whole plant should to be treated if you want to be safe. Repeat the process every few days to start with. Then once you think you got them all this kind of spray is a good thing to do once a week on your plants, since it will help stop any future infestation before it has time to get out of hand.

I have used this method to kill aphids on house plants and it was successful at murdering them all. But you might want to do a test run on a small section of your plant first, I never tried it on the type of plants you are growing. Fruit bearing plants might be more sensitive to this kind of bug killing method.

Bonus tip- I spray the plant pot sides as well, since sometimes the bugs or their babies hang out on there.

6:00 - Josh's own words: "I know we live in interesting times, but the name 'James' has not yet become a female fat woman name."

Please bring us back to 2019. I want to get off.

Neem Oil comes in various forms, including a standard spray. Locally here at the farm stores, they sell it concentrated, I then just use an empty 32 ounce spray bottle and mix some neem oil with some water.

It tends to smell a little bit bad at massive concentrations, but when diluted or bought in spray form, it's fine.

It's not sold as often in the US because you can't patient an oil from some Indian tree like you can some chemical soup you pay someone to make in a lab, so it's usually sold in the organic gardening sections and the like. And, yeah, farm stores, because farmers know their shit.
