For parallel computing haskell is pretty nice as its strict typing is very good for avoiding data races and sideeffect based problems.
But I gotta admit, haskell is kinda cursed as a language.

Can't upload archive of this week's stream; Kiwi Farms Archive is now on 2 strikes, so I will start a backup channel soon. Of all the videos to strike, this has to be the funniest one.

Null if the balcony is your proto-farm you can treat the pidgeins as your proto-livestock and humanely harvest one or both of the squabs right before their first flight at 28 days old. It won't run the parents off, and they'll likely lay a second clutch of two eggs in the same spot. (They'll probably do that either way though).

It sounds like you view the parents more as pets already though, so that may be off the table. No weird bird hate intended, but part of learning how to have livestock is learning to be ok with butchering it.

I mean, true on the livestock thing but sometimes you just want to have a pet chicken for the pet sake, or "pet" pigeon for that matter.

Yeah I mean that's fair. Like I said - it sounds like he views them as pets so if it's off the table that's fair fucks, man. Pets and livestock are just different. I'm Just saying, if Josh wants to urban homestead he's got a golden option here.

Autism alert, but Pigeons are adorable and they can be as clean as other birds that you'd typically would have as a pet. That being said, birds are messy animals and shit everywhere. Maybe just hang up some CD's on a string to scare them away like pic related:
