Pete runs or ran a charity called Double O that was established by the band in 1976. It's some sort of trust that offers aid to people who are victims of abuse of all types. Pete claims that he found some website that had the most baitiest slogan of something like "click here for child porn". He clicked it, charged his card seven pounds sterling for access, and says he immediately cancelled it. His goal was to show how easily it was to get CP and how no financial institution cared to do anything about it, or it was for a book he was writing, or it was for some big project. I don't know exactly because it seems to jump around in different sources. What is for certain is that he was issued a caution by the police and placed on the sex offenders' registry for 5 years. According to the police he was not in possession of any images and they only brought charges for this one time access which would lead to some credence to him doing research or whatever but he did plead guilty which, according to him, was a surprise to his lawyers.

So...fight to prove you're not a pedophile while running a charity you helped found that helps sexual assault victims or crash into slumber and be labeled a pedophile legally for 5 years and socially forever?

Is Pete truly a pedophile or is he just the biggest dumbass bumpkin who shouldn't be in charge of anything? Being on this site has taught me that, very typically, people don't do this kind of thing on accident or innocently.
 
I may be late and gay to the game discussion but I think Look Outside would be a good game, very comfy.

Also someone mentioned Until Dawn would be great and The Quarry is about 11 bucks on steam as I type this. Both of those very choice heavy and plenty of room for lols.

Lemme guess, he also got scared cause he thought was downloading a virus and when he was getting out of his chair his pants started slipping and he had to pull them up. Maybe thats why he was "exhausted"? All I know is Pete Townsend is SUPER SERIOUS about this research for a project that, whatever it was, never came to fruition.

@Null Where can I learn more about these dividend ETFs you mentioned? Mostly wondering how you handle them on taxes each year, where to get into them, how to pick a good one, and how you can take your money back out. I can rebuild a rifle and install a jet engine but money being anywhere but a savings account scares me.
 
I got some news about Disney, ABC, the FCC and Jimmy Kimmel. So 5 days ago Jimmy Kimmel as per usual with his dogshit late show, mocked trump, his party, and the (at the time up and coming) correspondence dinner.
The one thing he shouldn't have joked about during the whole "roast" was about melania and how & in quotes "She has the glow of a expected widow."

Now we all pretty much know what happened at the correspondence dinner so I won't dabble on that. But basically now the fcc is demanding license renewal reviews done on all disney owned abc networks which are the following: KABC (los angeles) WABC (new york) WLS (chicago) WPVI (philadelphia) KGO (san francisco) KFSN (fresno) WTVD (durham-raleigh-fayetteville area) and KTRK (houston) and the jimmy kimmel trump bashing is just an addendum to the investigation of their dei hiring process, but the melania thing is what sped-up their investigation more.

Nerdwallet.com is a pretty good website for the average person. Here is an article for beginners.

The main takeaways are:
-What you should invest in, and what kind of account you should have, depends on when you think you're going to need to withdraw the money
-The sooner you get started, the better, because of the magic of compounding interest

Any outfit you invest with will send you tax forms each year, that you then put in some numbers from when you file your taxes. It is pretty straightforward.

When Null was talking about dividend ETFs it was in the context of someone who already had a bunch of money, that wanted a stream of income to live off without having to work anymore. They are not necessarily the best choice for a beginning investor.

Quick update on Plainrock124 and the autistic digital circus meltdown. So right after glitch productions, gooseworx, and the lvlup expo banned him from going over to their pop-up panel and also the convention. Guess who showed up again at the pop-up panel?
