I'm getting impatient because nothing's fucking happening.
No offense but why pick a point and click adventure that requires reading the entire Lit101 corpus for redditors on screen in the first place?

I don't know shit about streaming games but I strongly feel like this specific pick was doomed from the start

He picked it cause you have loads of people in the thread like me who wanted to see his take on the commie slop while praying he roundhouse kicks the black supremacy nigger and gets the racist mug out of the dumpster. I’ll be honest, I would have loved to see him janny it up in D:BH, but these streams have been a delightful time. We nearly had pants today after Josh has been searching for them desperately, only for him to discard them LITERALLY as soon as he put them on because they would make him a centrist.

Josh doesn’t have to finish the game for me to feel like we got some Kino out of this game, but I hope he does so we get to see the end of the most realistic cop simulator on the market.

I'm a very simple woman and suggest playing again The Hogwarts Legacy, the streams were comfy as fuck. Jersh modelling the character on James Sterling is peak entertainment.

I don't blame you Josh. I quit the game after I failed a skill check at the hanged body and the protagonist breaks down and kills himself.

I vote for Pathologic 3 or EU5.

If you want to play a game that won't lean too much on one's sense of patience I would suggest Baby Steps, by the guy who made QWOP. There's pretty much no reading, nor much talking outside the short cutscenes between zones. Plus, it's a walking simulator like Life is Strange. Except in addition to walking you can also fall down. I would recommend a controller. I haven't tried the keyboard and mouse controls but I hear they're not the best for the game's walking mechanics.

There's also donkey-men, if you like those. Plus those donkey-men have penises, which you can change to censor bars for the sake of streaming regardless to your thoughts on penises. I hated the player-character Nate and the cutscenes at first, but it endeared itself to me by the latter-half and the ending makes Nate have a nice little character arc. Should take around 6-8 hours to beat, depending on how much little tasks or falling down you do. One of the areas was confusing for me, so it took me about 8.5 hours between two days.

I don't think Josh would like "Baby Steps". It's a literal man child doing everything he can to not accept help, not change, and watching people play the game isn't fun. Yeah there are some funny things that happen, like eating the fruits, but the end where he goes back (essentially) to what he did before getting sucked into the game world shows just how much he doesn't want to make his life worth anything.
And he's canonically gay with donkey dude. Which I thought that relationship was cute, but I know some people don't want to play a gay man child in a onesie.

He got into it completely blind only because people were constantly nagging him to play this horseshit game. Probably the only thing he knew is that it was written by leftists, since I recall him being surprised that this is just point and click during his first stream of it.
it's commie slop that had someone's heart and soul poured into it
If your heart is gay and pretentious, then the game will be gay and pretentious. I don't think I personally even care that it's written by commies, what annoys me about it is that it wastes your time with bloated nonsense that isn't particularly written well or in any appealing way. Brevity is the soul of wit, and this game is not about that.

Alright Josh, this has gone on long enough. Digging up the bone chair was one thing, but sending Indians to shit on Chibi's front porch is a step too far.

You must be out of your mind if you are comparing Baby Steps to Life is Strange. It's one of those games deliberately designed to be frustrating where if you make a tiny mistake it resets half an hour of progress, over and over. It is crafted specifically to make streamers rage. This post must be bait.
