Many years ago, I walked into a branch of Borders and purchased a novel titled The Nigger Factory by Gil Scott-Heron. It is about an all-black college in America; how such places are more about containment and the preservation of the status-quo.

Scott-Heron, who wrote Whitey on the Moon, is probably most famous for The Revolution Will Not be Televised. He did eventually graduate from spoken word to music, where any fucking bongos present were accompanied by other instruments. Winter in America - the album that he made with Brian Jackson - is now socially relevant in a way that probably wasn't intended at the time. Two of the tracks - Rivers of my Fathers and Your Daddy Loves You hail from a period before the welfare system effectively dismantled the black family unit and its cultural lineage, to the detriment of everyone. I would argue that endless gibs is the true nigger factory, but I digress.

Scott-Heron played race politics,, but he did have talent, and he was able to point the finger critically at his own people. The two factions in The Nigger Factory are the revolutionaries, who are obnoxious, self-entitled cunts to a man, and the reformists who are well-meaning but ineffectual. The novel is intended as satire. I remember it as being a frustrating book to read; like Kafka but with more black people, shouting and violence.

Anyway, that is my review of The Nigger Factory by Gil Scott-Heron. Available from all good bookshops probably. If you don't see it on the shelves then be sure to ask for it at the counter.

Happy Easter everyone.

Trump can still cut funding.
Courts interpret law, and offer opinions.
Just fucking ignore them and pull that plug.

I have to admit that episode of MATI depressed me. First that I honestly don't see a way out of the world as it is, despite Jersh's insistence that there is a path for at least the US, and secondly that we didn't lose what we had...we gave it away. Either out of apathy, greed or deliberateness. It doesn't really matter how, just that it happened.

I suppose metaphorically speaking, that this episode happened on Good Friday was appropriate. Perhaps we shall also see a resurrection.

Just remember that if the situation is hopeless, their propaganda would be unnecessary. They want you to feel depressed, blackpilled, alone, and that there’s nothing you can do about it because there’s nothing more helpful to them than a demoralized person.

Bro. That new ralph thing is up their with the darkest things that have ever been covered on the show. There have been some other really fucked up things, so I wont say the darkest. But it was really really rough. By far a new low for him.

Not sure about darkest but it was disappointing. Having followed Ralph for over 10 years, I'm not surprised. Ralph is hyper-reliant on other people. Nora, Zidane and Gaytor made the Killstream what it was. Ralph was just there. Alone, he's rudderless. No mother, no friends just whores and people of his own caliber. Ralph will never hit rock bottom because he will constantly dig that pit deeper without someone to pull him out of it.

On topic tho, maybe this gemerald for outro next show?
The oney boys played the futurama game and I loved this sewer theme.
