I have ran into a real problem with my consumption of the Dear Sneeder's podcast. I would like to locally maintain an archive (doesn't have to be perfect) so I can simply listen to the streams without having to stream it from my phone/laptop. Unfortunately, I believe we have come to a period in time where this is now impossible.

I'll break down the steps I've taken.
0. Non-VPN YouTube or Rumble: lolno
1. Grayjay: Broken as shit. Not even Rumble or Kick work anymore for me.
2. gPodder: RSS feed only has last 100 episodes. mati.live only displays 10 per page, meaning 35 pages would need to be manually separated.
3. yt-dlp: Rumble breaks it. Kick only shows three episodes.
4. Brave Browser (mobile): cannot export the "playlist." Impossible to do bulk.
5. Archive thread on this topic: too autistic. I'm not spending months downloading torrents over i2p so I can put them on my mp3 player.

Is it over? Will I have to scrape mati.live? Is there something I'm missing?

second this. It works just fine for me on both odysee and rumble. I just did lists of 15-20 episodes and downloaded them one by one overnight for a bit.

I noticed that there are quite a few cows that are at magfest. For example Game Show-obsessed troon chaser and moviebob clone Cory Anotado of Buzzerblog is running some gay shit there. I think that Dave Rivera the biggest simp of Alyssa Mercante is also there as well.

Also be careful recommending JDownloader. I went to their official page and downloaded the version compatible with my machine and it tried installing so much fucking adware. I looked it up and found numerous Reddit threads talking about this very issue. I bet it's fine software but I'm not dealing with that shit. (The dev is either a total scammer or a retarded lolcow in the replies lol).

Does Rumble give you trouble when your VPN is on? I'm on NordVPN and I never had to solve captchas and I've never seen any anti-VPN messages like on Youtube.

I installed JDownloader on Windows a looong time ago and I do recall having to look for an adware-free installer. Nowadays it looks they have two separate installers for Windows, so it's clear what you're getting.

Pretty sure that's a Manlybadasshero reference. Some fuckin' youtuber. I dunno if he still does it now since I haven't watched him in years but he used to have a bit where he would open an empty container and say that exact quote or some variation of it.
So yeah, it's just some retarded youtuber reference.

No, it's not a youtuber reference. Mario literally says that in the game when he's in a fucked up state. I specifically said it's due to mario not whoever the fuck you're talking about. The game plays it 100% serious it's not a meme hehe hoohoo moment.

Anyways I immediately realized the thing that MAGFEST thing is referencing/parodying is the youtube kids content farm channels that picked up boykisser and manface chicken nuggets and skibidi toilet among other things that were memes a few years ago now. So basically layers of shit going on here. People not in the know about that shit though are gonna see that and go "what the actual fuck is this shit" because you'd need to go down a very specific youtube clickbait rabbit hole to find those kinds of videos (or just get lucky and it's got a game you were looking at a video of in it's title for some reason)

He was apparently pretty popular in the indie horror game scene, many games referenced him, hell there was even one that flat out put him in the game as an easter egg, so I very much doubt this is a case of pure coincidence. There were even other games that made the exact same reference with checking an empty container and such. But if you want to believe it is, more power to you I suppose. :story:
They just happened to put nearly the exact quote he used to say in several videos by complete accident in the indie horror game, the quote from the guy who is known for playing indie horror games. Purely by chance.

Quit using Nord. They're a shady company. They lied about being hacked, they lied about not storing any user analytics, and they're currently in a class-action lawsuit about their shitty billing practices. Switch to based Mullvad instead.

Just in general don't use anything that's being shilled by Youtubers.
