@Null you should consider setting up a decent discount code for Locals/Gumroad and plugging it heavy at the start of MATI tomorrow, maybe even with overlay text during the stream. That would give people the chance to check out some of the videos/streams they haven’t heard before, and to fill the void while MATI is on break all at a slight discount during the Christmas spending season. I’d personally consider subscribing for the PPP bonus stream alone, and overall I think it would bring you a lot of new subs to both of those services to start the new year.

Some locals creators offer a discount on the annual plan- it functionally just cuts out the extra 11 months of processing fees for the monthly subs, and passes the savings on to patrons. (Or maybe a slight discount on the net, I don't remember the math off-hand. Usually it's like $5-10 off, depending on the monthly. However, you also get the advantage of a drop-off from a dead card only happening yearly, instead of monthly, so the annual in some ways is more secure in terms of potential churn and turnover.)
Others, like Sean, offer a one-time-use free month pass. The first taste is free.
Above said, I dipped in for $5 for a month to give it a go. I'm curious if PPP is planning his off-ramp.

I know every dollar counts, but discount codes tend to wring out the wallets of impulsive retards and Christmas time is the most impulsive spending season in existence. If you knock even a buck off per month exclusively for new subs, and put the code up on the screen, I genuinely think people who didn’t even consider it before will justify the spend, especially given the stream is going on a 2 week hiatus. Make it exclusive to new subs only, and it could only help you, right?
