Well in fairness to @Null he basically got the entire point of the show after watching 2 episodes. Walt ISNT doing all the meth shit to earn money for his family. He hates his life and wanted the exciting fast paced life of a rich meth dealer. Most people dont realize that until Walt literally spells it out in the final episode. Null garnered that 2 Episodes in. Kinda defeats the point of watching the other seasons if you aren't interested in making Hiesenberg edits. Better Call Saul is MUCH better IMO and the the main female character (Kim Wexler) is MUCH better written. Im not just saying that because she's hot and autistic. You dont need to have seen Breaking Bad to understand what's happening in the show because its a prequel.

I watched all of Season 1 and the first two episodes of Season 2 before completely giving up. It is a miserable watch alternating between dumb people making bad decisions and the most annoying and unlikable family of all time being a grating nuisance. There is no joy, no spark, no connection. I don't relate to any of the characters because they're all fucking stupid. I'm smart, I'd have figured out ways to solve problems without getting into his situation. I can't enjoy a show where I am constantly irritated by every single fucking thing that happens because it DOES NOT MAKE SENSE.

Liking Breaking Bad is a self-out like liking Bojack Horseman. If you relate to Bojack you're a fucking insipid narc loser scum. If you relate to Walter White you're an idiot with boomer delusions of being a quiet-yet-capable badass not properly respected by his family.

Breaking Bad isn't outright "Bad" however it's a "Drama about a set of Morally Grey characters who do Morally Grey shit" and people overrate every single one of those style of shows.

It was really interesting how you talked about Izzat and transitioned into the Roblox CEO zoomer whining and attacking the interviewer about being held accountable for child exploitation. Add to that Jimmy Wales doing something similar at the top of the show.

I dont mean to be Mr. Media Literacy but you dont have to like or relate to the main character to enjoy the story. Or at least I dont. It certainly helps but its not necessary for the story to be good IMO.

Maybe since you've lost interest in following Rekieta you probably wouldn't like Better Call Saul either. Its basically just what would happen if Rekieta ever got the opportunity to work for the cartel.

Shows like these arent meant for you to watch and root for and agree with everything the protagonist does. Youre watching assholes and idiots lives collapse in a poetic way. Which is why Boomers love them, they had the power to collapse America and they have all but succeeded. Meanwhile people like Walter White and Jimmy McGill had that same power and excercised it to meet their own ends and inevitably destroy their own lives and the lives of others, in much the same way boomers have in reality.
 
That's a fucking idiotic take. You PUT CHARACTERS into a STORY to get CHARACTER ARCS and STORY ARCS. That is a plot. There is no plot without a character. There is no plot without character development. A story in which a character stumbles through a situation without learning anything or accomplishing anything is a shitty story. If I don't care what any of the characters are doing there is no fucking plot. You might as well point a camera at a pond full of ducks eating bread. Who the fuck cares what's going on?
 
Whenever he sees a Mexican on Breaking Bad he has to do his iconic 15 min racism bit™. Gets tiresome spending 5 hours on one episode.

Get a cheap bread machine and try out different bread mixes. Look for ones that only contain all the necessary ingredients. It takes about 4 hours to make a 750g loaf. I've been doing this for a few months and I'm happy with the results.

Also, on the topic of Master Boot Record, he is not a new appearance to MATI, in fact his music made appearances very early on.
He is kosher in the church of sneed because MBR gave Josh permission to play his music.
Also, his main sound sounding like a floppy drive is the purpose, making music with the drives, such as with the floppotron, was a big deal and probably was an inspiration.
I also remember MBR saying he was inspired by Quake 2's soundtrack, specifically the opening:
