British people wrote that one, that's why. Netflix raped it harder every season after getting it starting with 3.
Wanted to ask on a positive note, what is your favourite Black Mirror episode? Mine is White Christmas, it's one of my must watch Christmas specials every year.

And I agree that Beyond the Sea was a major breaking point for the series because such obvious questions like "why is NASA never talking to these astronauts? why didn't they have any media archives to occupy their minds with in a world where perfect humanoid robots exist? why did NASA not up security after one replica was killed by a cult?" were never acknowledged. Just such lazy writing that I didn't even bother watching the following two shitty episodes about werewolves and demons.

I've never watched Black Mirror, but I know that OG Twilight Zone is better than it because OG Twilight Zone is one of the greatest television shows ever.
It's really not that good, Boomers just remember it because to them it was the spookiest shit ever. The only kino episode I remember was an adaptation of a story about Civil War POW escaping his execution, and returning home only for it all to be his dying dream. Other than that most of the episodes are kinda bland and run together with pretty predictable plots and twists. A few notable standouts are nothing to give praise to a series with over a hundred episodes, most of which are pretty boring

It was groundbreaking at the time, so I can't judge it too harshly. If it feels like it is a lot of predictable clichés, consider that in a lot of those cases it was the first to do them, and half a century later it feels like a series of predictable clichés because it's been imitated repeatedly and you've seen the imitations already.

The Outer Limits was a slightly more edgy knock-off of the original Twilight Zone concept back in the '60s. Both were rebooted decades later- but the 1990s reboot of The Outer Limits was not only better than its original version, but better than both iterations of The Twilight Zone, iconic as it is.

The ranking is:
  1. 1990s The Outer Limits
  2. OG The Twilight Zone
  3. 2019 The Twilight Zone
  4. OG The Outer Limits
I've only ever seen one episode of Black Mirror so I won't compare it. But from what I've heard I'd split up Black Mirror into pre-Netflix and Netflix versions and rank them separately.

🎶She's a Boss🎶
🎶Boss Nigga🎶

I've seen exactly two episodes of Black Mirror. The one where the nigger gets cucked and then works really hard to get onto a talent show to kill himself live on TV and IMMEDIATELY sells out to provide other drones catharsis through his deranged rants thereby perpetuating the shitty cuck system.

And the one where the British politician fucks a pig. I gave up after that.

if you didn't like that one there's no point for you to watch the others. it doesn't get better.

btw most people pitch the show as being like "weird stuff happens! usually technology involved!" but that's the Netflix retard-level requirement list. the really good ones also include a third very important aspect: british people are awful. The best episodes are in England and there's some sort of public participation element where not only is weird shit happening but everyone (english) seems to think it's really cool. that's the true fear factor.

sorry to hear about the merch run. I’ve created these as a coping mechanism. Board mascots or something. Was a fun project.

1990s The Outer Limits
Hell yeah. It's super comfy. I even have a folder with screenshots (1 per episode) so I can remember which one was which. I love seeing the Pacific Northwest, it's hands down the most beautiful area in North America. Lots of familiar faces (Robert Patrick, Josh Brolin, a few from Star Trek). The only thing I didn't like were the clip show episodes, but there's only three or four of them out of 150+.

Do you know Night Visions? It's very similiar and it has its moments. Shot in Canada as well.

Was always a Daft Punk guy not so much Justice, but I really dig this song. Reminds me of the Aphex Twin music video for "Come to Daddy" for some reason. Maybe the color grading

New York Times Magazine: ‘I’m on Fire’: Testosterone Is Giving Women Back Their Sex Drive — and Then Some (archive) (A&N)
Enthusiasm for testosterone cuts across political lines. Several of the women I interviewed belong to religious communities that strongly oppose gender-affirming care, and yet were taking testosterone in amounts comparable to those taken by some trans men. Marcella Hill, one of the most popular testosterone influencers on Instagram, was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints when she first started experimenting with high-dose testosterone and proselytizing about its powers. Although she has since left the church, in part because of the way she says it shames women about their sexual desire, she has many friends still there who take high doses of the hormone. “I’d never really sat with myself and thought about what I think about gender-affirming care,” Hill said. “But I think everyone should get to decide how they want to live in their body.”

President Trump’s commissioner of the F.D.A., Martin Makary, has signaled his enthusiasm for hormone therapies for middle-aged women, and the company Marius Pharmaceuticals is in conversations with the agency about clinical trials it intends to start on a standard-dose testosterone pill for women. The conversations so far suggest that “it won’t be easy by any means, but I think the new F.D.A. will be reasonable,” said Marius’s chief executive, Shalin Shah, “which represents a step in the right direction.” In the past, he said, the agency’s response to hormones for postmenopausal women has generally been “like running into a brick wall.” (The F.D.A. declined to comment on its past decisions regarding testosterone, citing the government shutdown.)
Breaking: Trump administration will help turn milfs into pooners.

I know at the beginning of the month you said you'd be streaming video games on the weekends? Has that been happening and I'm just not clued into where that's happening or has life gotten in the way, I could just use the background noise.

Has not happened as far as I am aware. Null never has time for anything, all work and no play *sigh*
