For anybody who wants to learn about one of the funnier passages of the Bible, there is a passage of the Bible wherein Jesus warns against over rigorous obedience to schematic, performative behavior as a means of expressing religious devotion instead of just taking a person for what is in their heart.
I'd like to argue that the requirement for no-qualification forgiveness is not much different from demanding that people follow a 47 minute hand cleaning ritual before eating or they're somehow not truly Christian.
In it, Jesus advises that petty, performative religious requirements are always of less value than what is IN the heart of a person and their true expression of that. I've always appreciated this section because the disciples (Peter specifically!) are dumbasses and had to ask him for a plain explanation of his previous point, whereupon Jesus actually has to mention taking a shit to get the point across. Shocking! But they were being idiots so he had to speak on their level. It isn't what goes into a man that defiles him (he shits it out) but it is what comes out of him (from his heart) that defiles him. I like to think the story was meant to be a bit funny to the crowd and also to scold Peter's stupidity.


I like NET because it has notes on all the odd translation quirks between the different language versions and their various extant copies, but I digress. I suppose one could make the case that it isn't the black dick that defiled her, but rather what comes out of her that does. "For out of the heart come evil ideas, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander. These are the things that defile a person; it is not eating with unwashed hands that defiles a person." In this case, she should only be forgiven when her heart matches what her words say.

Well since you dared to disagree with me I point out he was doing a rack mounted thing which routinely does not use standard screws and he mentioned there were missing gromets on some which is totally believable and would effect vertical spacing

e: Though frankly I'm also somewhat accustomed to rack mounted stuff being poorly constructed to begin with so the base panel the standoffs screw into could also have been warped (consumer grade rack mounted is a total wild west) That was why my initial suggestion was to try loosening the screws rather than re-doing the standoffs (which wouldn't have necessarily helped)

I don't know her, but if this is indeed the case then that is a shame. She has the opportunity to be a role model and warn others as you said.

Regardless, the response for a Christian is to reprove, call to repentance, and pray for her. Because Shoe married a Roman Catholic, I assume she joined the Latin Church as they would not wed them otherwise. I may be misremembering, but I believe Josh has proclaimed himself a Christian. Based on those assumption, I am trouble by the sight of a Christian tearing down another Christian. It is a terrible thing to see the body of Christ attacking itself.

You can set your motherboard down on a piece of cardboard and it'll run fine. You don't know what the fuck you're talking about.
Motherboard flex is also largely irrelevant outside of shipping damage.

No, look it up. He bought a CONSUMER board from them with no remote management. Quite possibly the worst decision one could make when buying a motherboard outside of chinkshit off Temu.

Completely missing the point what a gorilla nigger. If you firmly fasten a badly made or deteriorated motherboard onto an even slightly uneven surface that can absolutely destroy it when it otherwise might have limped along for a year or two longer resting on a piece of cardboard. We are talking about what actually happened not hypotheticals inside your gay imagination

I'm pretty sure this is a board he's had for thousands of miles of travel as well. Just getting the shit beat out of it by being shipped in a case instead of pulled and boxed for every move likely didn't help it's longevity.

I have standoffs from computers from the 90s up until today, you can definitely get them in all sorts of different heights and thread sizes. Sometimes they're even different thread sizes on both ends, the external thread is one size, the internal thread another. If you have an old case with no standoffs and are trying to find some that fit, it can be fun, not only to find the right thread (there are 2 common thread sizes in use in PCs) but the right height, so that the connectors are centered in the cutouts in the case, and also that the slots are at the right height for the addon cards.

That’s a fun thing about reading translations, or particularly adaptations (of any writing) that include footnotes, especially found in archaic languages. The way old English, archaic German, or other translations of texts from hundreds of years ago, will require footnotes or even companion volumes to put context into perspective for readers today. That kind of stuff is great when you’re looking for details or specific levels of understanding.

I assembled a server myself once with a generic rack case and supermicro board, NEVER AGAIN. It fit, but the airflow path was an afterthought, it didn't come with a hot swap hdd backplane (pay extra for something still mediocre in quality). The servers from HP, Dell and IBM are comparatively great quality, mechanically speaking, and they have a good airflow path design, meaning they'll run quieter (but on HPs you have to hack the iLO firmware to slow down the fans, which is only possible with old ilo4 servers, if that matters to you), and they spin up the fans a lot faster if you install non-HP PCIe cards, which is a shitty vendor lockin move.

I had a supermicro for my main server for 12 years in a generic case, just swapped it to an Asrock. Seems fine but the web ui likes to logout. Nice custom fan curve support. Slapped it in a new 2u case as well. Server 2 is still an ASUS Z97-WS that I finally upgraded from a Spider IP-KVM to a Pi KVM that does power control as well. Plenty of CPU for a 100T backup server and a 3070 to run WhisperX.
