What was the exact motherboard model that died?

One thing i can say is that if you're moving to am5, stay away from ASRock boards (especially if buying a X3D CPU). ASRock motherboards have been killing X3D chips for a while now.

be a chadnigger and use old kiwifarms rackmount servers as your PC (you may have to mount it somewhere else in the house as they're loud as fuck)

Could also be something with your PSU if there's absolutely nothing giving a response. Maybe something with your new UPS setup fried it? In any case, I'm looking forward to another stream that's just a technical difficulties struggle session.
