Some horror game recommendations for the feeder
FAITH: The Unholy Trinity - classic Christian horror with rotoscoped pixel art - game time 5-7h

Popular with zoomers spot the difference horror games all very short and simplistic
Exit 8 - 45min
Stairway 7 - 1.5h
Anomaly Exit - 1.5h

Lost In Vivo - 4-7h

Also some people mentioned it already but I second No I'm Not a Human. Cozy Slavic horror for 2-3h.

Honestly, Night in the Woods would make a good October stream. It's very Autumn-themed. It's a vaguely-wokeish, creepy/comfy 2D walking simulator without a whole lot of consequential choices to make.

Problem is that a playthrough would be roughly around 10-16 hours, depending on how it's played, so a little over what our Deer Feeder is aiming for- probably roughly as long as any one of the various Life is Strange games took- and much of it is missed if you're just trying to play the main storyline without investigating any of the side options. Not something that'd be done in two three-hour streams. More like four, maybe even five, so that's an issue. Thematic for the season, anyway.

Bonus lore: the guy that made the soundtrack committed suicide after Zoe Quinn accused him of being a sex pest and everyone involved with the game immediately cut ties with him, so there's grifter/lolcow tie-in.

Another, spookier choice, might be Amnesia: The Dark Descent, which I saw mentioned. That's a horror game that's probably more like 8-10 hours. I saw a few people recommend Mortuary Simulator which is relatively short but that's all jump-scares with very consequential puzzles and easy bad-end game-over reset conditions.
I'd like to second this! This was exactly what I thought of when listening to the stream. Also, the venn diagram of NITW and LiS overlapped heavely when they both came out.

I stick by the Witch's House. But I don't know how Null feels about puzzle games, and I don't remember if it's short or not since it's been thirteen (?) years ago since I played it. There's one part I remember being very vague.
The Witch's House is very short, like less than 2 hours.

You have triggered my welding autism Josh. You want to cut your laptop with a blow torch. I don't know if an oxy-acetylene torch CAN do that. That is a blowtorch, and it works by rusting shit really quickly. Like steel. I don't have a clue about silicon. Maybe a plasma cutter. Now that fucks shit up.

Alcohol has a fuck ton of calories, he'd be weeks behind his goals if he got proper plastered.
Alcohol is caloric because of how they measure calories, but i don't think the body can properly convert alcohol - like hard liquor - into fat.
The body breaks down carbohydrates into simple sugars until it becomes glucose which then will be stored in the cell. Protein will be broken down into aminoacids and utilized to create enzymes, repair muscle cells, but it can also be turned into glucose via gluconeogenesis.
I can't remember a pathaway for alcohol to be turned into fat tissue.

Of course, if you're drinking sugary drinks or beer, then you're drinking carbohydrates and you will get fat because of that.

Donno if we still doing vidya recommendations but ‘Still Wakes the Deep’ is a glorified walking sim that’s pretty spooky if you like The Thing and oil rigs and utterly impenetrable Scottish accents. Might be a bit long (4.5-6 hrs to beat.)

Spooky chill walking sim game recommendations:

The Moon Sliver (about 1 hr playtime)
The Music Machine (about 1.5 hr playtime i think)

Both require reading subtitles but I enjoyed them a lot.

Edit: Also Cloverpit is a spooky gambling game if you wanna RP Bossmanjack.
