Honestly, find something non-pozzed with a duplexer like a Brother, maybe even an older model. Then get an auto-pen(or a pen plotter) to address the letters for that "human" touch. Or, just, another cheap printer. Only trick for older stuff is making sure that the supplies are available. As far as drivers go, there's always the raspberry pi solution to make your printer speak IPP.
 
@Null you mentioned gaming recommendations should be posted here and you were planning on game streaming more next month. Do you want recommendations for games that are strictly good for streaming like single player story based games or would you play any type of game on stream that are more repetitive/grindy also?

Sadly I heard brother sold out recently too. Honestly if I were buying a printer right now I would be looking for ancient office laser printer. As in mid-90s to 00s small officer black-and-white only stuff. Then again anything laser will have stenography in everything printed. Shit really is fucked.

it should ideally be played in one or two sittings with maximal viewer enjoyment. this is why those walking sim games are so good.

Should only be on color lasers as it was intended for currency copying. Harder to do on B&W and less useful.

Oh, right, don't buy a color laser. But for most business stuff that shouldn't be needed unless the letterhead needs to be color and printed at the same time.

I had a company I worked for once in the 1990s that had a Lexmark that was a tank. 2 full-ream trays, duplexer and a network connection. They did all their own billing. That's what null needs, and 3 people to help move it as it was setup on a counter.

its fucking $150 on ammozog and ready support to Linux if your distro can be bothered to add printer support (hp made made custom driver to support all of their printer on Linux).
Ink tanks are great for color but nothing beats a laser toner printer when it comes to quality and reliability.

I had a Brother sewing machine that was too weak to do anything beyond very simply joining two pieces of light fabric together. I got a reconditioned West German Pfaff machine for the cost of a new Brother sewing machine and it has ten times the capability.

However, when the nightmarish HP 3-in-1 machines at my work finally, mercifully began to die I managed to persuade the boss to go with Brother for their replacements, even though they were more expensive up front. They have given us no problems. Would recommend a Brother laserjet over HP, Epson, Canon, or any other common consumer brand.

I am convinced that printers are the most annoying and temperamental computer peripheral. You think trying to stream through a box is bad, try keeping printers working.

Bro, I am sorry but I quick search shows that this was released around 2017. Buying a 2010+ HP printer is just a bad idea. And proprietary HP drivers are not a selling point.
