Why would you care if you are banned from a subreddit? These people are insufferable, even when talking about something as innocuous as video games they try to antagonize people who have different opinions.

edit; idk why. everyone is saying the site is working better than usual the last day or two. For me the last day or two have been way worse than normal. Things are taking forever to load. When normally if it's not a video it loads pretty much like any other site. But videos hosted on the site, buffer like hell.

Cartels are experts in terror tactics. They do not simply kill you. They execute you. They do not simply rape your daughter. They put on an “animal show”.

Mexican culture is still very machismo so things that might technically be more scary like slow torture, aren’t as “manly” as sawing someone’s head off. Just like siccing a dog on a girl in front of a crowd is more “manly” than doing the Haitian Huddle. The average guy can comprehend a gangbang. He can comprehend shooting someone. He cannot comprehend bleeding a man like a cow or training a donkey to rape. (Though sources on these shows are rather poor and spotty, to people in Cartel territory, they are real).

On the loan, PPP had a good point insofar as if the coach mistakenly thought Ian was serious about boxing, Mike might think Ian would be interested in having a partnership in a boxing business, one that could potentially be roped into the Creator Clash universe. While Ian would be within his rights to reject the idea regardless, I think the inappropriateness of the coaches request might depend on how fleshed out the idea was, whether he had a business plan, etc, vs "you bro cosign this loan so I can make a private gym for me and my buddies."

Listening now, and Josh talking about the monkey sadists being very adjacent to pedophilia reminded me of a really crazy book I read. It’s called Conversations With A Pedophile: In The Interest Of Our Children.
It is literally a pedophile and a therapist who works with incarcerated people writing in turn. The therapist analyzes the pedophiles writing and the topic as a whole and the pedophile simply explains everything about being a pedophile. He explicitly says, multiple times, that pedophiles are interested in control, corruption, and sadism. The way they conceive of sexual pleasure is entirely different than you or I, it's not love or attraction it's about forcing their will on something that can't resist them.
The more you learn about pedophiles, the more radical and alert you become.
