No idea what youre talking about, ritalin suppresses appetite. Generally the issue with people that overuse it is that they're too focused on something and don't eat for days because they just forget to. Stimulants don't affect the metabolism to induce weight gain or to make it impossible to lose weight so either she's coping super hard or you misunderstood her

I rambled about this before a few times over the years I think, but I VIVIDLY remember the resperidol/resperidone shit because of both personal experience (lost the weight IMMEDIATELY after i got weaned off it since it didn't do much aside from make me FUCKING GAIN WEIGHT) and the funny shit that happened when an artist kid that was already fat and I mean like chris farley levels fat before they put him on it. He got all depressed and edgy over the fact the meds were classified as "anti-psychotics". Guy was like "Do you KNOW what that medicine is classified as? It's an ANTI-PSYCHOTIC... I can't believe it.... they think I'm a psycho...(:_(". They literally just gave it (or prozac) to kids with anxiety of any kind so naturally this was really fucking funny to me. in a way that I'm never going to forget.

There's also the fact that while I was on that shit I had to get bloodwork to make sure my hormone levels weren't being fucked by the meds with and were stable which is one of the big reasons I take ire with troons and modern medicine now treating hormones like magic gender units instead of the truth of them just being body regulation shit that fucks you up if you mess with it too severely. I KNOW I've rambled about that shit a few times and I'm not the only person with that experience which made the whole rise of gendershit and HRT pushing to small children so much more baffling to witness these last few years.

Ritalin is the basic bitch stimulant that hardly affects metabolism. Adderall and other stronger ones do affect metabolism.
And it's not a case of "my friend took 200 ritalins and lost weight" but they're completely different classes of medication.

There are of course a small percentage of people that have their weight impacted abnormally but on the whole ritalin doesn't do shit to your weight.

Can, relate. I was taking that garbage due to crippling OCD and I feel like I could've gotten off of it way earlier than I did given how it has mellowed out before I started getting off the meds. Once I did, boom, 6 months and 30kg is gone. As for the testosterone levels, I have no idea if they were out of whack when I was taking it, but I did do a blood test after I got off of it and they were good, so the only side effects I'll have to deal with is the regrets of being fat for most of my life and having some loose skin and stretch marks.

Don't take risperidone kids. Ideally, don't take any meds if you can.

I think that is the saddest part but from a different angle. I think it's pathetic that that was even offered. I don't even fault the boomers for not fully checking on the documents because it's almost unthinkable that the city would willingly fuck them over this badly 30 years after the fact.
