I think many weebs think that (many) people are secretly like them, and they are just one "good" anime from revealing it to the world, they are like troons in many ways.

I think there's a bit of a difference between thinking someone could enjoy a show or movie from a genre and thinking everyone wants to surgically and chemically alter themselves.

I think that's more a secondary effect.

The primary is they just want to rip you off and have a behind the scenes agreement with google to make kids buy their stuff for kickbacks.

The implication of the school requiring the use of laptops at all. For whatever reason it doesn't sit right to me when I think about it. That our society is having kids learn that this is the way you get your information, and that these are the sources of authority. But I don't exactly have a good way of explaining it.

The more I look at that the more I don't like it though.

Laptops were part of school growing up. If you didn't have one they had the cart of heavily trashed laptops you could use. It's life. Chromebooks are nigger technology though. Doesn't even have a delete key.

Old man you're out of touch! Kids don't even know how to read cursive anymore, let alone write it. I legit worked with some kids a few years back that was like "i can't read this cursive shit" and i told them to find their balls because it's still a real thing.

Didn’t they use to make kids buy iBooks back in the day or did they give them away before Chromebooks became a thing?

I think it's actually a rental system. Where they rent the laptops each year for a fee and if it gets damaged the family has to pay full price for it.

Kids dont need good computers, they need the cheapest shittiest most replacable web browser bootloader you can find, which is what a chromebook is.
If you want your kids to understand computers teach them at home.
If you want them to understand accountability and looking after something, buy a dog.

My problem isn't so much that they're shitty. It's that they require Chromebooks specifically. I don't like the idea of Google having that kind of control over education. Even if it's only slightly. In a monetary sense.

I'm of the opinion that children should not be permitted to use electronics for entertainment until the age of 7, and not allowed unsupervised access to the Internet until 14.

Well the Indian flag is pretty good. Being Indian is awful as is, there's nothing good about India. The land might have been nice at once point but its just a sewage dump now because of the people. But its not enough. Now we know Null has an aversion to India's #1 export and understandably so.
So I thought to myself, lets combine the Indian flag with their fine friend's the Pakistani's flag.
Who no one would know the difference between if you put one side by side by the other.
