@Null Do you know how to play Rimworld? It's a fun idea for a chill gaming stream, create colonists with the name of lolcows and just see them do shit.
"Christopher Weston Chandler is in a shooting frenzy", "Tommy Tooter has died of a heart attack", some really funny shit can happen.
 
i've tried playing rimworld on stream but my way of playing that game is extraordinarily hyperautistic and not fun to watch. I have a very, very specific idea of what starting maps I like and I hate a bunch of the new shit they added.

It was amusing to see that Optimum retard defend the troon with his aim trainer program as if large high contrast balloons are remotely comparable to small low contrast targets, especially when he was perfectly locked onto that guy in the jeep. He then tried to say "oh >she's not usually this good" as if that was a defense at all. Maybe most people don't know this, but having two different levels of play is the number one indicator of cheating in any competitive endeavor.
 
The Vile Enemy Maldavius Figtree has returned to streaming by playing Ironman Runescape, and is running multiple mods trying to stifle the trolls wandering onto his field of vision, cancel out strangers chat, etc. Players are finding new ways to troll him, like using items to turn into cows, or making funny usernames and making NPCs say their names on-screen. Nothing outstanding yet, but might be mention-worthy on stream if somebody makes some good clips this week.

Dwarf fortress? I'm a pleb and couldn't handle looking at ascii for hours and the graphical version is quite pleasant on the eyes. Name a dwarf Ralph, keep him in a rage room training for the day you unleash him on your enemies.

I watched the archice of that and I was enjoying it, but you eventually decided it wasn't entertaining. It's a great game to talk about other stuff during as well due to the pacing being entirely player defined.

I think you underestimate the passive demand for hyperautism gaming.

Here is some info:
-Creator of Rimworld is British.
-After around 2018 he hired a bunch of people and the game started bloating quickly.
-He still has enough sense to allow players to choose any major historical version to play (accessible via steam betas) so you can play pre-bloat. I would suggest version 1.1.

I would think the category of viewership for map games, management sims like rimworld, other weird shit like ss13, all strongly overlap.

Also, I think that being more self censoring to get on Youtube for gaming streams deprives most of the entertainment to be had. But that's just me.

The owner of Gelbooru is claiming that Cloudflare is refusing to work as a reverse proxy for them and Danbooru. It's unclear if this is intentional or the result of a greatly expanded H-1B workforce.

He doesn't want to in combination of the KF official ss13 becoming a huge hassle and probably because he knows how addictive it is.

It's fine by me really, he's given it a bunch of shout outs. The only thing I would ask at this point is user ads so the server could be put in those.
