Muta is just doing the classic pajeet move of "im going to suck up to this entity because i recognize them as superior/a threat in exchange for power/lenient punishment" is how they survive in India and is also how they become CEO's and then ruin your industries, your country and your life.

Anyone in the field of engineering knows the merit of those degrees is at an all-time low, regardless of institution. Canada and Iran are the last two places left in the world that still enshrine the Engineering profession as if it was the 1920s, so I get why this has incensed some people seemingly more than is reasonable.

There is no prestige in being an "engineer" in 2025, and there hasn't been for a while. The precise room you sat in when you learned higher-order math has no bearing on your intellect nor your ability. A YouTube guy sating "I'm an engineer, trust me" is synonymous with anyone smugly referencing their high IQ and massive dick in a normal conversation.


Also Josh, I like your self-styled title of: Antifragile Systems Architect. If you were curious, in the corporate world we'd call you a "fixer" which is fairly universally understood to mean someone competent (regardless of formal education) who is given complex, uncommon, and/or highly varied tasks to carry out.
 
People should just stop being surprised when someone says something completely inaccurate about a topic they aren't interested in. I've seen people in the Mutahar thread who are very clearly interested in the topic say the most bafflingly inaccurate things, for example someone referenced a video of Mutahar kissing a man, a video which does not exist, because he misunderstood what people were saying about Mutahar admitting to kissing a man.

I work in IT, but my degree is in Computer Science. It's pretty rare I have to remember how to implement a linked list or a B-Tree. On the other hand the soft skills like business presentations were useful. Even right out of college I maybe used 10% of the stuff from college in my actual job. Of course I came in knowing where the power switch on a computer was and a fair number of the intro courses were just useless. There was one I was supposed to take and it was full, so I went to where you talked to the professor or advisor to get on the wait list or something and they basically said "Yea, you don't need to be in this course, just take the next one."

I think you can't interpret hyperbole or read when it's being used because you might be autistic.

You can disagree with someone without thinking they should be tortured to death or executed in the street, you know. Revolutionary concept and kind of the basis for a literal discussion forum, I know.

Terry Davis made a random number generator that he believed let him talk to God and that somehow wasn't as schizophrenic as this is. Which is very impressive since Terry actually had schizophrenia.
Then again he made it himself rather than finding something somebody else made and claiming it as the route to higher conciousness.

My "defense" of him is that I do not care if anyone calls themselves an engineer. If you said you're a bullshit engineer, I would be in agreement, not because I believe you have a literal degree in bullshit, but because I can see the merits of your works and come to the conclusion you are in fact a bullshit engineer.

This is why all the big youtubers like Asmongold, Charlie, and Mutahar himself just wait until the dust settles before making their 10 minute sloptent btw. If you look at the issue on its face and just say what you think, you get people violently angry at you, accusing you of conspiracy, simply because you didn't immediately start frothing at the mouth at the stinky jeet.

We all know that jeet diplomas are worth shit to begin with, so why does it matter? As far as I'm concerned, he's more competent and more well credentialed than any jeet with a diploma. So why do I have to care or be angry? Oh, right, because the drama YouTuber made a video saying you should be, and therefore I have to.

Edit: oh and to clarify he should be 100% deported. I hope a deportation engineer gets him. No diploma required.

A degree is a ticket to entry, once you're past the door it does not help you.
(Some industries are such that businesses can win contracts based on how many X-degreed employees they have.)
