I connected my bass to my PC through a USB interface and I wanted to use my mobo's codec as audio output to listen to it while playing. Turns out it creates horrible popping and distortion, so I connected my amp (hi-fi, not a bass amp) directly to the USB interface, which has its own output port). Works fine.

There is a constant push to expand residency spots citing a physician shortage. These spots don't like going unfilled so an increase in spots without the same or greater increase in medical school seats will result in more immigrants coming over and filling these spots.
It's widely been reported that 40% of female physicians reduce their practice or leave medicine entirely within 6 years of completing residency. Even women without children are way more likely to work part time compared to men. Consider that it takes 4 years of undergrad, 4 years of medical school, and 3-4 years of residency depending on specialty to get there and the typical medical school grad is 400k in debt. Then there's the investment that goes into educating a medical student from a societal point of view. It's complete and total insanity. Half of our medical students are women but almost half of those only go on to be what is effectively half a doctor. This then leads to people hyping up the so-called doctor shortage even more leading to more foreign trained physicians who provide substandard care and help push down salary. Nobody wins here.
In my view, to be anti-women is to acknowledge the reality that men and women are not equivalent. That is to say that as a man, you should fundamentally understand that women aren't really people in the sense they are currently thought of as in modern society.
