Speaking of early Joshtent, I once stumbled across this 2017 appearance on Sons of Kojima from way back in the day (for the record I have no idea what's going on here).

The earliest Null appearances discussed before were on The Dick Show and The Killstream. If this occured before those, that might be the earliest footage so far. Part of the primordial MATI soup where it all started. Nice find.

I don't know about anybody else, but hearing myself speak as I speak is so fucking disgusting. Stage artists (singers) monitor themselves and I literally don't know how they do it. It really makes my skin crawl.

In the olden days, <insert comment about my lawn here>, phones, the kind on your desk, had sidetone so you knew how your speech was being heard. Admittedly it was just local so you couldn't be sure about the far end but it was better than nothing. Now we have idiots yelling at their phones since they have no idea how loud they need to be. Similarly we have it in the headsets and radios we use in aircraft for the same reason.
