Yeah, I guess. I pirate everything, so I wouldn't know. The smart move IMO is to get a few big HDDs and just hoard everything you care about indefinitely. Especially since re-released media are sometimes censored or devoid of copyrighted elements (the music in Alan Wake or the TV show Supernatural, for instance).
I don't usually pirate games, just buy them with greymarket keys or when they're on deep discount. But I haven't paid for TV/movies for over a decade now. Unless TVs stop having USB ports a portable HDD like I have should be fine.
So just downloaded everything you can now? Piracy will always be a thing, Schizos and Autists ensure that. Just because something is difficult doesn't mean it's impossible. Some stuff is REALLY hard to find, even if you're willing to pay. I'm always on the lookout for 70s-90s action/horror/sci-fi movies and they're either gone or only on obscure forums and blogs. Even if you find DDL links, they're often dead or only available for premium users.
