WRONG! Male mosquitoes feed on nectar like bees, is the female mosquitoes that suck blood so they can use it for their eggs.
Thanks pleakley.
Because mosquitoes are a food source for many other animals such as birds, bats, lizards and Africans.

I remember finding out way way back in the day via documentaries that there's a number of recipes for food that use mosquito eggs for some reason. Not african, though. I think the first time I found out people use them was one of those shows about food and shit where they went to some mexican food market or something and they had a bin labelled mosquito eggs.

Probably to help with ease of eating. Blacks do have that Pica

One thing I noticed is that SLF were problematic in my area the past few years- I have not seen a single one this year: no eggs, nymphs, or adults.
is SLF short for those fucking lanternfly things that look like shield/stinkbugs but jump with the force of god as nymphs and bootleg cicadas as adults but make no funny sounds and kill trees with mold instead of just sucking on their nectar and shit? Yeah similar case here. I wonder if there might be some sort of pesticide usage or something that fucked up the cicada population on top of the lantern flies given they both tend to live around areas with trees.

CHEESE UPDATE:
Limburg is fantastic to melt onto a baked potato.
Most cheeses either don't melt enough or become too runny, limburg seems to be in the sweet spot.
You must mash it with salt first.
Also pre melting it helps to spread better.

Sodium Citrate/Phosphate is the industry standard for emulsifying any cheese for melting.
