Found something you might find interesting Jersh. Kidd Bandit had a wrestling match where at the beginning all of the wrestlers twerked to 90s boy band music, and when he tried to do it Joey (with the blond hair and the red outfit) hurt himself trying to do it.

@Null Regarding Swiss German.

Edit: Sorry, a bit of a necro because I was prompted to reply by watching this.

In the "German" part of Switzerland, there is a phenomenon called "diglossia," where the people essentially speak two languages: a "high" form of German (Hochdeutsch), and a "low" form, dozens of dialects of "Schwyzertüütsch" (this is just one of many spellings, there are is no real official written form of the language, and there are many dialects anyway).

Source: I lived in CH for a year. My French was fluent, but I also knew a bit of German. To my ears I would describe Schwyzertüütsch as sounding like a combination of Swedish and Arabic (i.e. harsh -even compared to German - but also sing-songy).

I might be exaggerating, but some might say that Schwyzertüütsch is as far away from Hochdeutsch as is Dutch. Germans, by-and-large, can't understand it. That goes only one way because all but the least educated Swiss Germans will know Hochdeutsch.

Most religious sermons are conducted in Hochdeutsch, for example, as are any formal-ish ceremonies. School is conducted in Hochdeutsch (I am told). If a Swiss German wrote a book, he would write it in Hochdeutsch (though there is a literary movement to also produce written works in Swiss German).

So yes, being able to speak Schwyzertüütsch is a skill quite apart from merely knowing German.

@Null, For the mad at the internet website, are you planning to put a search function / tags on videos for your video archive on it in the future? I am glad you have an archive of the streams, but searching for portion of streams, can be cumbersome to find unless viewers already have them bookmark. The internet censorship segments, and tech segments are pretty interesting, and considering the horrorshow you have to put yourself through to host this site, I think it deserves to be highlighted or at least be easier to find for old and newer listeners.

I have come across one of the whitest Walmarts in the country. There's no Spanish anywhere. It's quiet. All the workers are white. Everyone was white. They don't even have a receipt checker. You have lived in many places, serious question as I'm thinking of doing what you did (live in places not the usa for a time). Is it worth it compared to the usa? I know good people will be everywhere but culturally, day to day, financially and overall, is it worth it? I never want to give up "muh freedoms" but it seems that if I were to move to idk Serbia or Israel or Ukraine or Poland, the day to day would be hard to navigate as an American that only speaks English. I guess what I'm asking is that putting aside the stuff like guns or that you can run this site without getting assfucked by the government is it worth living in America?

My original account is still banned. I can't be arsed to create a sixth account to be banned so I don't have one.

There was a brief reprieve after Elon (but not given right way - it took several appeals), but then I was slapped back in the clink.

I'm generally positive toward Elon, but I think the real explanation is that the old regime has lots of residual representation at X, in terms of old code and woke moderators. It's like a cancer that has tendrils wrapped around every system.

He hasn't bothered enough to root all that out. If you're very popular, like Catturd and dog-killer Ian Miles Chong you will get bailed out, but if you're a nobody Elon doesn't give a shit.

There is more that I could say that would powerlevel me so I should shut up now. Suffice it to say that this shit and Elon's false promises have significantly affected my life in real material terms, despite his promises to help us out.
