The reason the "Won't someone think of the children!" gambit gains any traction at all is because they have a point. There are streamers that advertise sfw streams to kids and link to nsfw content. Video game streamers with onlyfans links. Roblox discords full of adult perverts trying to lure in kids. You can either punish the people that ruin a good thing or no one gets the good thing anymore. Sadly many people don't have the stomach to have people punished. What libertarian options are there to crack down on adult pornographers enticing kids toward their products through a "sfw" titty streamer on twitch? None? Well something's gotta give eventually.

iirc Google & Apple don't allow porn apps on their store fronts but that may have changed or I'm just misremembering. This could also be targeting those gooner games on mobile devices like Azure Lane, Girls Frontline, Nikki, & Brown Dust.

Even Josh's version on Rumble is borked rn, my third of four superchats was missing, and the 4th(long and hard) was mentioned in the middle, so there's missing content sprinkled throughout. I hoped Josh had a full recording on his end, may or may not.
 
So why exactly did Null not just go himself to get this footage or at least see it with his own eyes? It's obviously not a money issue, there's probably a dozen whales lined up to be drained at the snap of Nulls finger. It's not an opportunity issue, he's apparently been in the U.S. for months now. It's not a motivational issue, he really fucking wants this footage (as do all of us).

So why the fuck is all of this dependent on a couple of girls who aren't even KFers? Nulls now 5k in debt to the Gunt when he should've just spent 5k to travel himself and actually secure this shit. Losing a bet that he started himself with Ethan Ralph is a shameful place to be.

Yet. Every time they use the "save the kids" talking points. Instead of something that will actually help kids. It's something like. Making end-to-end encryption illegal. Which has been tried, an unbelievable number of times now. With that exact argument. And it's never made sense. And is pretty transparent. For people that actually understand what encryption is.

It's a fear mongering technique. That works because people obviously care about their kids. And if the government is saying let us do this. And your kids will be safe. People will be a lot more likely to go along with it.

There is a certain point where. Parental responsibility does have to come into play. Which starts getting into another conversation. And people don't like thinking. If they raise a troon. They very likely do play some part in it. Through neglect. Through ignoring signs. Through complacency.

I think those things you mentioned are a problem. But there is also fear mongering, and propanda that gets pushed. To get people to react in ways that are actually against their best interest. And the actual problems never get dealt with. Because none of the things they pass, by playing off these fears actually deal with it.

I personally think video games have been one of the worst cultural influences of all time though. Not because of the old, it will cause people to become violent. The real effects of video games, has been cultural. And nothing good has come of them. Twitch, video games. Gamergate, obviously video games. Discord, video games. Retard man children, video games. So many things come back to video games and how culture has changed around them.

Not to even get into the addictive tendencies, which a lot of people are in denial about. And seeth if they feel like the finger gets pointed at them about it.

This is one of the things. I actually do care about. Because it's something that people still have time to push back against it. Before it becomes entrenched in the "it's just how things are", area like so many other things. Like the Patriot act, or the dmca. Or so many other things.

Ralph WOULD have won if he had actually taken the bet. Instead what he did was flip flop on the stakes (5k, 500, Pawpaw's ring) and overall try muddle through the conversation without firmly accepting or rejecting the bet so that he can be in a weird half in half out state where he would have never actually needed to admit defeat. Too bad.

Then no one has Liberty or Safety. Everyone gives up liberty for temporary safety, every gang gives up essential liberties to be better at running drugs and avoid the law, every society imposes duties on its people toward the common good. When the country was founded if a scumbag ran by you with some ladies purse and you stood by and weren't a woman or an invalid you were liable, you had no freedom to stand by and watch. If there was a fire in your neighborhood you had no freedom to sleep. The government will be wielded by busybodies to try and do things they want that's the whole purpose of a government, you can try to be a busybody about something too or watch them run over you.
